Still have the spotting.. but it's not bright red.. just a bit each day... Think should be ok.. not feeling any pain..

Ha... I also a Feb and Pisces baby.. hope my bb will be the same as me too..

Dear Mummies...

Im feeling terrible...even slping also feel nausea...cannot take it and couldnt slp at all...there's nothing i can do to make myself better.

I can feel the nausea getting worse...very moody!

geyser, yeah yeah we are fated to meet in this thread. 龙头老大confirm not my bb...as I used web to calculate the EDD, it 12-14th Feb (yet to confirm with gynae).

kwxy, u do rest well...must have lotsa rest...last time, my ex-coll took 4 months of mc, leave, hospital mc, etc to rest...both her #1 & 2 also same sign...
 
Hi Mummies, need your advice, Im not sure if im preggie, my menses supposed to come on 18, not here yet. But had strong cramps last night, but still no sign. Do u think i should wait or check if preggie.

Btwn does ovulation last for more than 3-5 days?
 
Hi Anne, usually u can check whether u are pregnant on the day when ur period is due. U can test today.

Once u ovulated, ur egg usually need to be fertilied within 24hrs, aft that implantation will take another 5~8 days.
 
KWXY: I am wearing a sea band (wristband) from guardian pharmacy. Its help me to sleep better and reduce my ms. Its only $13.90 or $11.90. the wristband actually is for motion sickness and also work for ms. you can drop by pharmancy to take a look.

you tell the pharmacy that you want to look for "sea band". is the brand name. I read this at the western motherhood forum they recommend this. so far so good.
 
I think my ms got worst too ... Just when toilet to puke. Will it get worsen further? When can we stop ms? I don't like it.

I used the Internet and calculate my edd.. 2 FEB ... But should be not so accurate until confirmation by gyne.

Im only week 6 and start to feel nausea...and will MS hit me real hard the next 1-2 weeks??

Btw, i calculated my EDD...should be 17th Feb...after CNY...got to confirm by gynae again end of the month. And silly hubby hope BB pop on 14th Feb...V day!! hehe

Btw is there any believe that siblings from tiger and dragon yr cannot get along? My relatives are telling me that...
 
annne: my sis and i (or whole family) don get along. I am a tiger and she is a dragon. But I get along well with other dragon too.

main reason not becos she is a dragon but she is taken care by my grandparents till 6 years old. she think my parents shortchange her childhood and try to get as much attention as possible by making other people life difficult.

1st few years of upbringing is v important. so do not worry, cos everyone is different.

for example, my bro and SIL are both borned in the year of rat. their charactor is v mild. but my son also rat, he is more fierce than a tiger.

I believe in such Chinese horoscope! And somehow it's links to me. But well, it all depends on the level of believe of each individual. After dragon.. Although I say #1 is enough, I may aim for a snake. After that ... Think all clashes with me and hubby le.
 
Jocelyn, dont worry ... cos I got a gd example for u... my uncle is dog, his son is dragon... they are father n son cum very buddy friends... they chat on everything, go out together just like friends....
 
i just found out that im preggie too and from what i calculated online, the EDD is Feb 21. As this is my #1, I would like to find out if u all have a any gynaes to recommend. I'm now in week 6, do i have to consult a gynae now or wait till week 8, as suggested by some. Tks!
 
my hb kinda "worried" cuz i'm a dragon & this bb is a dragon, we'll both bully him cuz he's a rabbit! his only best friend is our daughter who's a mouse. haha.. 2 demure & 2 fierce ones!

Hi GT; Congrats. Up to u lo. Usually #1 more ks so will see gyne earlier to take some supplement. If you are feeling good and no funny color discharge... Mayb u can wait till week 8 ba. But you can start making doctor appt, by the time.. Already week 8 le. I'm seeing a woman gyne at Tmc. Dr Sim

Anne: my hubby wants at least 2 or 3 most.. I cannot stop here. He don't understand the stuff we going through... He just play his psp daily after work.

Joycelyn: if want to go in-depth, at times it also depends on the hour of birth. Different timing refers to different horoscope too. So don't think too much

My EDD date on 03/Jan/2012. This my second baby, I am afraid to annouce this news even to my parents cos of I suffered from a MC last yr Sept..so phobia to it now..

any advise?

You EDD same as mine. I had a miscarriage last Dec. Also don't feel like announcing to anyone. So afraid my baby's heart will just suddenly stop beating again.
Think wait till after third month then announce bah. At last survival rate is higher

I am at 12 weeks now, how abt u?

Everyday I had the 'panic' feeling,keep thinking y cant feel anything in my tummy today and so on~ so paranoid now..

I will go on my scan this friday at KKH, will see how the scan goes..but I knew 1 thing for sure, I will cry while they scan, cos I am so afraid to hear the negative comment from the scan...

really duno when can I feel assured that this bb can be with me for sure...haiz...
 
Linda, ur baby will definitely can feel ur stress... be happy and optimistic ok... I also suffered fr MCs twice... but I know this round I will deliver a healthy baby!!

Opps, i read wrong. My EDD 3Feb. now at 8 weeks. Some days when I have less morning sickness, I get so scared that I get teary. I'm dreading hearing silence on the scan machine, seeing a unmoving baby in the scan, no blinking heartbeat.

I'm telling myself to lighten up and be positive, else stress the baby.I tell my husband I will only be more reassured after the baby is delivered safe and sound and celebrate his/her first month. Haha, then my husband laughed and said we'll prob spend our whole lives worrying about our children... doesn't stop after the first month
 
Sounds so scary ... Waiting to see the heartbeat. Mummies ... Don't scare us leh. Y other pple can like get pregnant and the baby just pop out safe and sound ... We are so stressed up here. Relax.... Everyone breath in and out now ...

am new to this... haven't seen gynae yet, appt is next week. Self test showing positive, guess shd be in 5th week (based on BBT charting), but no tiredness or vomiting. is this normal?
 
Thanks Pinkz and Planet... I checked with gynae this morning... Gynae told me that it should be fine, but try to minimise over-walking... It jus kinda of freaks me out...

Kwxy: Jia you... Orange skin might helps slightly... But try not to take sour plum, esp those filled with sour power... Heard that it isn't good for our health and babies...

thanks princess, am in china right now, and everything here is oily and spicy. yes, i guess i start the cravings soon before all the other symptons set in. haha!

jinglebell: Also in the early weeks... thus, at times, I tend to worry lots too... Can't help but feel stres at times... My work isn't being helpful afterall too... My husband keeps telling me to relax and be positive...

this is my first, and not getting young, just crossed 36 few days ago. have been thinking alot since i tested positive, especially in china where the air pollution is bad, and food safety is also an issue. Dare not anyhow eat outside food. very stressed. Good to have cravings, but can't satisfied yet... very torturing eh!
 
jinglebell: oh yes, food in China is always a major issue, try not to take raw food and eat cooked food... This is advised by my gynae... I avoid all sashmi etc ever since...
 


Linda: u mean terrible as in their personality? they are quite different ppl from us here ... perhaps becos of different environments and upbringing, different cultural backgrounds, they have to be like that in order to survive in this type of environment.
