i feed bb water during cereal time with spoon. so far he's ok with it. if i feed using bottle, he tends to reject. and he also tends to reject if we feed after cereal, so what i do now is 5 spoons cereal, a few spoons water, then cereal, then water again. have to disguise it or motivate him to drink by giving it in between the cereal feed.

yes yes, leapfrog touchpad needs the catridge.
Only the original one don't need cos it's inbuilt.
You can purchase the books n catridge from online BP. .. much cheaper.
SG selling $29.99 per title but through bP i got it for around $15-18.
It's a good investment i feel.

No la, maid din mean evil but Kai was looking quite stress really. And she just said jokingly.
I think i quite lax with maid and she really feel at home with us.

HT Cereal
Think someone post before that the Barley one was sweet? What about the Oatmeal or Mixed Grain - anyone tried before? I am keen to introduced the above 6 months cereal to bb but not sure which is better. Guess Mixed Grain is better cos its has all? Or should I be introducing one at a time (ie. Barley then Oatmeal) then give mixed grain last?

Yuuri, Talon was born 13 July so bigger than our babies. I didnt know the other 2 (jun hao & xavier) I think now the smallest is ruixuan one. But i find xavier abit idistracting the class at times coz he makes quite abit of noise & my kapo Jac will turn towards noise even if half way thru the cards.

i tink i will take ethan to the pool soon! my swimwear finally arrived from melb! woohoo...i'm all set now. i'm too embarrassed to wear my old bikini out.

ethan didn't poo yesterday! i'm getting worried that he might be constipated. and he's a lil' fussier today. so i tried to feed him more water for his bfast solids. hopefully he can poo soon. so worried. i usually give him a bottle to drink water. today...i use spoon, so i can sorta force feed more.

initially bernice also rejects water, then when i started her on cereals, i fed her water from the spoon and she is ok with it. now when i put 30ml water into the bottle she also will drink.

i started with the oatmeal cos i think i read somewhere it's stage 1. and it's better to give 1 grain first to test rather than mixed grains. so for me i will give oatmeal, barley then mixed grains.

brie,

initially started with 2-3days laundry, now I wash every 4-5 days. so her nappies on the bed, rocker will be wash altogether.

so less wash water and electricity. If nt.... with the increment of 20% in the charges last dec, bills are sky high.

Plus I have more time to do other housechores or play with Meredith.

Re: drinking water
So far, Chevelle is ok, always let her hold the bottle to drink herself after the cereal feed. Initially she didn't like drinking water (I started her when she was 2 mths+) thru the bottle and then slowly she's ok to drink fr the bottle. I always let her drink after she wakes up fr the aftn nap cos she always seem so thirsty after waking up.

aiyoh, so many other babies fell or hit themselves huh... must be the air... sayang sayang... Jerold ok, no vomiting after the fall. but super duper clingy and want to be carried all the time. last nite was quite bad too, his nose is very blocked and he cannot breathe properly and got very angry and cried out every 2 mins. i used the sterimar nosal spray on myself and ended spray into my eyes... quite difficult to use hor. then i thought i master the art of spraying and use it on him. And I spray his eyes too! but he seems to be enjoying it, all the water around... hahaha... or he thought its milk bottle? very excited to see the spray. anyway, i ended up using the illadin cos i kept spraying his eyes and he kept wanting to lick the bottle... haiz...

after his fall, i gave jerold the bao ying tan also. But he blew all the powder out from his mouth. but i'm very sure he has eaten some cos the powder is so fine and some should stuck in his mouth cos the mouth is wet right? but hb is not in favour of giving this to jerold. i bo chap, don't tell him lah. but i don't use it regularly, just at times when he kenna scared by someone or something and in this case, his fall...

wah, read so many posts until i don't know who said her baby is mucus free now. I need to clear jerold's very blocked nose. can share how or not, else hb and i won't be able to sleep well tonite as well. both of us super panda eyes... and i'm not able to pump every 6 hours. not its 8-9 hours and my supply dropped a lot! help help please!

All the babies have very good weight. Jerold's weight have been dropping, don't know if his wegiht has picked up or not.. he was 9kg like 10 days ago. will weigh him tomorrow morning to check again.

RE rolling and falling
my bb ger has been rolling from one end of the bed to the other end and my bed is 2m long! now i'm also cautious and mus place high pillows around. ya, our bbs are getting more active and agile.

sigh .. so stressful. see her fuss and cry. I can see and feel the tooth cutting thru the gums. so heartpain to see her cry so much.

I applied dentinox for her, calm down abit but after that she will fuss again. see her tears roll down so heartpain.

Mummygiraffe: sengkang also got kinderland but its a childcare, while we prefer just a nursery/kindergarten. the kinderland YCK got school bus. the school is not cheap tho.. that's why i wanna get as much feedback as possible. it 3x more ex than the neighbourhood playgroup ryo's attending now.
I was thinking maybe he will still go tots house but I send him to berry on weekend (i worry bout his chinese since no one speaks chinese at home).

Rona: Misaki also got block nose last nite pus cough (i think because of the phlegm..sigh).and can not use the illadin already must stop for few days.
the sterimar, when u spray must cover a bit his eyes area. hehehe .but its ok even kena eyes also not harmful( I asked pd bout this).

Krex: teething: yes.. that's when u need dentinox the most, when u cant see the teeth but your child is cranky/can tell his in pain. because when the teeth comes out it wont be so painful already.

my girl is cleared.

hopefully stay that way till her 2nd jab, dragged so long 'cos she's sick...
when you use the spray maybe try cradle position. i used it on her when she's sleeping. Her breathing diffcult when nose is blocked, but once sprayed it'll clear up a bit. then she'll carry on sleeping. Aiming also better when she's sleep...

bad experience today..sianz

i had some nipple pain recently, suspect is thrush. finally today i cannot ta-han the pain n went to see gynae. i thought would be something simple like getting some cream to apply so i just went to a gynae near my place, didnt want to travel all the way to TMC to see my own gynae.

wah lau...i end up with 2 type anti-biotics, 1 oral anti-fungal and 1 cream to apply. the gynae even had to 'clean' me down there n insert medication...had i known need so much i shd have gone back to my own gynae

n this new gynae is so rough..i dont like.

worst thing...i cannot breastfeed for 1 week! OMG..i dunno how man. dun think i have enough frozen milk for 1 whole week leh.

up till today, she has been on TBF latching most of the time...n now this whole week must use bottle. aiyo...then think i must start her on formula too. then at the gynae this morning, i ask whether can start the anti biotics at night, he say no, if not im feeding all my bacteria to her! must start now!

har?? so like suddenly, totally not prepared! this whole week i must pump n throw all my milk!! ahh!

how tolook out for thrust; if ur baby's mouth got something like mik stain and the stain can't be removed after cleaning (use wet towelto clean her mouth).. then got to bring baby to see pd
