!! Urgently need to know. SPECIALIST for child who has cough once a month and leading to repeated br

Need some urgent help here.

My son has been having cough almost every month since his first bronchitis in may 2011.

Within this year alone, he has had bronchitis about 4 times...

Numerous PD visits is costing us at least 200-300 on average a month. And can't bear to see my son suffering like this.

Have gotten a referral letter from polyclinic to a specialist at KKH, but the appointment date is 1 mth from now. I'm thinking of just walking in as a private patient, but afraid of the bills.

Need recommendation for a good specialist in this area with proven track records. Also, pls advice on how much consultation and treatment will cost.

U may want to bring ur child to toa payoh 中华医院to see the Chinese physician. Both my daughter and niece recovered after seeing the physician. Chinese medicine has got no side effect on the children unlike western medicine. They even tell u food that would hv caused the cough. My daughter consulted the cough specialist a few times but nvr seem to be better but after visiting the Chinese physician once she stop coughing after 1 consultation. U can call to chk with the staff which physician is gd for child's cough. I remember the physician's name is 陈金凤。

Thanks. I hv brought him to chung hwa at yishun for a few mths. Can't see any effects yet but as of now is still taking medicine n following up regularly.
