Urgently need to know. SPECIALIST for child who has cough once a month and leading to repeated bronc

Need some urgent help here.

My son has been having cough almost every month since his first bronchitis in may 2011.

Within this year alone, he has had bronchitis about 4 times...

Numerous PD visits is costing us at least 200-300 on average a month. And can't bear to see my son suffering like this.

Have gotten a referral letter from polyclinic to a specialist at KKH, but the appointment date is 1 mth from now. I'm thinking of just walking in as a private patient, but afraid of the bills.

Need recommendation for a good specialist in this area with proven track records. Also, pls advice on how much consultation and treatment will cost.

hi, why dont u try TCM? When both my sons cough for about 1 week and western medications doesnt work, i bring them to TCM.. After which, when they develop cough, i usually bring them to TCM direct, no more western medication unless fever. So far it works pretty well for them. But i must say not all kids would take chinese medications as its bitter. btw my boys are 2.5 yrs and 14 mths.

I hv tried bringing him to several TCM's. regularly goes to the tuina at kembangan too. But his cough is not the usual type. It is v persistent n always end up w viral or baterial infections which tcm doesnt help at all bcos it takes longer to take effect.

I believe tcm can "tiao" the body n is using it on regular basis to build his inmune system. But still need a specialist as n when the cough develops into infections...

why not try chinese medicine treatment? my daughter just had a fever last week, usanally takes about 4 to 5 days to recover after taking medicine...this time i was introduced by my colleague to this chinese paediatric massage therapist , wow...great! i never imagine it could heal without any medicine! and only 2 times massage , my daughter totally regain energy! it's quite magical! then later on i heard from my colleage that she was introduce by her Korean friend whose son had asthma at 2-year-old, after this chinese massage , her son quit spray puff.
