Qegg, I was good after the ER. My ER take 1hrs 30min. Super long. When i woke up, DH was seated beside me already. No pain at all. My Dr said i look good after the ER and ask me go shopping. haha.. 12 follicles was retrieved. Till now, i don't feel any pain or discomfort. Just feel a bit tight at lower abdomen. Thanks God for his protection. I was prescribed Dostinex to prevent OHSS occur after the ER. Walau, its cost $240 for 10 pills. DH was shocked.OMG!!!

Done my scan baobei doing n growing well. During the scan wave at me. My sudden bleeding is caused by a 2mm blood clot outside the sac. Now no more bleeding. Admitted myself in the ward. But after all the blood test n scan, no ward dr update me. The result is the sonographer told me. So feel a little at easy.

Hi all,

am new on this thread. Just started my IVF cycle w KKH. Today is D9 n did my 1st official scan n bt. Think I hv low ovarian reserve as today's scan only managed to pick up 6 follicles. 2 9.5mm, 1 6mm, 1 5mm n 2 hazy.... so it doesn't look too good here. Going for my nx u/s on monday. Can anyone share with me what I shud b asking the doc after the monday's scan.... appreciate it. thanks.

Ching, you switched to CARE? Sorry to hear abt the dilemma you're in. I can only share that Dr Paul did my ER and ET, and I must say he's skilful! Not as much pain after my ER as my first time done in KK. And ET was so swift I din even know he was done until he told me. Alternatively, can get TCM meds to help shed the old lining? Whatever decision you make, all the best!!

Remember I told u Dr zhao gave me tcm to help shed my old lining n prepare the womb to grow new lining? Alternatively u can try tcm. If u trust ur gynae enough then can also consider his suggestion n yes ur doc have to be skillful to not scar ur womb. R u prone to scarring like getting colloids when u cut or hurt urself? If not, u dun have to worry too much abt scarring if ur doc is skillful.

Ching , i had a light d&c to clear my lining a few months ago as my AF was very light after failed fet. It was done same time as polyp removal. The doc said he would only scrape a bit. It was fine, and the next cycle my lining grew nicely. I agree that it shld be done by experienced doc and it should not be done too many times.

BrChow, don't worry too much. When it comes to stimulation stage, based on scans & BT readings for the respective indications, Dr will prescribe the right dosage to stimulate your follicles & they will likely grow by then for retrieval stage. You may wish to ask the Dr if there's any oral medication that will be of help to your current condition. For me, I was prescribe w metformin which was suppose to improve quality of eggs...
You'll be in good hands.

KL, thks for ur reminder. Keke... I will not ET for this cycle bcos dr said my estrogen level(13k) too high plus my lining too thick (15mm) . When both combined, dr said Not suitable. will monitor till right moment. Hehe... But still, have to drink a lot of water.

Hi sandra, yes, metformin is a oral medication prescribed by Dr Loh. I took it from suppression stage till ET day..

Sandra, metformin is usually given to ladies with PCOS. I took it when I was trying for #1 in 2009-2010. Though I am now cleared of PCOS, I am still taking it, under Dr Loh. FYI, metformin is also given to patients with diabetics. So make sure you get clearance from yr doctor before taking metformin.

There are some side effects from taking metformin. Like giddiness etc.

Lakigal, don't worry about the discharge from the inserts. After 30 mins of lying down. Your body would have absorbed the medicine already.. I get it all day so just use panty liner.

Hi KL & Sandra, thanks for sharing. Needed someone to confide in as feeling quite worried after my 1st u/s which din look good to me. i'm on short protocol and under doc HH Tan. Started to jab .25mg orgalutran from D2 until D6. Then D7 - D9 300mg puregon. Today took orgalutan and puregon (both same dosage as abv). Tmr going bk for u/s.

Didn't had acu only took TCM herbs from Chung Hwa Medical since Aug but already stop last month when ready to start IVF. I think doc did the AMH blood test bah and rem him saying that it's on the low side like 13.5, if I rem correctly, plus I have 1 blocked fallo tube.

Took blood test on Sat for my thyroid (hyper) condition and the other can't rem for what purpose. My last blood test result (3 mths ago) for thyroid was good and stable.

Hopefully tmr u/s will show better readings.... what else should i ask the doc after they have shared my scan readings with me? endo lining? exactly how many eggs? I feel silly not knowing what I should ask the doc.... but I know for sure that my IVF will be coupled w ICSI cos hub's sperm is weak.

hi ladies, good evening..

I got diarrhoea n my stools got blood in them and also blood clots . some of the blood are fresh red, some are bandung color. M i too heaty or the effects of the progesterone and antibiotics? my diarrhoea is on n off, but my stools continue to b soft n watery even if not diarrhoea. After a meal, i have the urge to pass out again. Also this is the first time in my life that i pass out blood clots in stools. The blood clots measure 1 to 2 cm long, 1 to 2 mm thick only. Diarrhoea started Fri, blood clots and bleeding from a--- start saturday and has not stopped since. Anybody knows what could b the cause? Sorry if its too much info for some of u here.

Yes Jelly! I agree with Sandra, please call the doc and ask, better to check it and has been a few days already also.. Another thing would be piles, cos my mum had the same problem and went for a scope to tie them up... I heard that if it's piles and it's not that serious, the doc can remove for you during your delivery..

Hi leapgal, I went for scan on d13 (coz of wkend I think) and did my ET on d17. Supposed to do on d16 but I was especially busy at work that day so requested for the following day. But this also depends on the devmt of lining and all, I guess? Are you starting on your medicated FET soon?

Tsuki, I read on one of the websites that it can occur between 6-12 days after ovulation..

After the ET, the embryologist told me implantation period shd be between 4-6 days after ET.

Sasha: Orgalutron is also know as Ganirelix. Today I'm on D10. 1st u/s on Sat has only 6 folli with dimensions and 2 r hazy..... Tmr when scan will listen carefully to the readings as the nurse reads out plus look at the chart when review by doc....
