One of the biggest benefits of having IP cameras is being able to access them from the internet. Many of us have smartphones, iPads or netbooks that we take with us and it would be great to check in on the place, children, elderly, maids or even a pet while at work, in a coffee shop or while travelling. IPcams have 2 way audio, so you can even talk to the person or pet! The problem many of us have is how do we do it. We all know that if we go to a certain IP address on our home browser, we can configure and view the camera, but how do we do the very same thing when we are not home.
That was the problem I faced when I bought my first IPcam. The complexities with regards to Port forwarding, Dynamic IP address, Configurations caused me to spend lots of time trying to figure it out, but still it did not work out as smoothly as planned. Being a mum who was working (and not too well versed in IT technically), I did not have too much time to learn the intricacies of what I bought. I was about to give up until a friend introduced me to Radicam. I was reluctant at 1st to try another IPcam but with the need arising(as I’ve just employed a new maid), I decided to give it a try. The results amazed me! The video and audio were clear, streaming over mobile devices was so satisfactory that my husband has changed to Radicam for his office use over the old CCTVs. Best of all was the easy installation! There was absolutely no fuss and no frills!
I strongly recommend mummies who are thinking of installing IPcams to give this a try 1st! I’ve also worked something out with RADiCAM for the first timers who might still be apprehensive about IPcams due to the fear of complex installation!

received the camera yesterday evening, a day after making payment.
the guy who delivered the set, also helped us set up the camera, is polite and friendly.
He even offered us tip/suggestions on the placement etc.

Hi cliff,
If you wish to get the camera first, is ok as the setting up is rather simple for this ipcam. It does not require any complicated port forwarding. So you can easily do it yourself.
Basically, just download the cd provided, link it to your wifi, key in your UID and password(given with the camera). You are ready to view your camera!

My camera was working fine for the past few week but the last 3 days seem to have problems. I have not been able to view when I am at work, error says unknown device. And even when it says online I get blank black screen. When I get home to turn it off and back on, it will work ok for awhile and then problem recures. What is wrong?

I don't think so. Something strange is going on. I only seem to be able to view camera if I am in same location. E.g same room as the camera. Which defeats the purpose. Actually pretty upset cos I'll be out of town tomorrow and bought the camera specifically for this period and it has to play up on me since 4 days ago. I am still waiting for Dominic to get back to me, but not sure if the problem can be resolved today.
BTW, if an alarm for motion detection sounds, can you view the pic? Mine always says no results found. And the alarm setting doesn't seem to stay, I have to set it a few times in the day. Similar to the time stamp problem - feels like the ancient watch that needs to be set all the time.
Do you keep the camera on all the time? My hubby seems to think that is the problem. But then a camera should be on all the time right?

It sounds strange to me as I have not encounter this problem with my customers yet.
Did the radicam guy call you already to handle the issue on recording? Anyway, if your problem can't be resolve, probably radicam will do a one to one exchange for you. What time are u leaving tml? Did you ask if they can go over to your place to take a look tml?

I have bought two sets from you about a month ago. I would say the camera is good. Day & night vision is clear, easy to install and viewing is smooth.
