hi everyone,seems like now is time for our bb to flip liao. but my gal is 3mth n 3 wks still dunno how leh, dun even show any signs of flipping. during tummy time she will push wiv both hand s lor.ainsley ur gal flip everytime u put her on timmy?? my gal ah, if too long on tummy will make noise le.
 


woah.. all about flipping. seems girl is faster then boy huh? perhpas i shall intro some tummy time. cuz he only half flip! funny thing is, his face facing right but his body turning towards left. like that how to flip?! haiyo!

btw, my sis's tuition teacher told me her hubby's colleague managed to bf all her 3 kids till 6yo. power leh!

1xmummy, i give 'pao shen' not 'yang shen'. think got different. must buy the best quality. tell the chi med hall its for bb to drink de. they'll pack few pieces into a small packet.

my method is, place the paoshen into a porcelain cup with lid. then add in water and cover it. put the whole thing inside a wok and steam it. like 'dun' the paoshen.
 
genesis n miumiu, i'm keen to meet up oso. but i'm SAHM so u gals decide n let me noe.prefer to do so on weekdays as not so crowded. if is jus a small group can use my place oso.

ainsley, have you got your girl to sit at the bumbo seat..? coz i'm not sure whether she can sit in there for long, if she struggle to get out, then the tray will be a bit wasted leh..

btw, any toys that are worth buying at the taka fair for 3m? i dunno what to buy for 3m.. and some are so ex..

i was at lok yang way on sat afternoon. didn't get to buy anything, coz the stuff seem so old and some stuff dunno whether can work or not. inside so hot and stuffy, i was all alone inside choosing while my hubby and girl is outside. sigh.. no one to help me to decide, so end up didn't buy anything..
 
ainsley , same my gal will get frustrated during tummy time too. 2 days ago she started to chew her lower lips vall the time le, dunno is it teething or the pacifier?? cos i jus change her pacifier to nuk wan. she like the nuk wan more cos the previous wan she keep spitting out.does ur gal chew her lips too??
 
hi jaclee, long time no see. i oso hav the bumbo seat, but plan to let her sit wen bout 4mths onwards cos der spine nt strong yet.
 
miumiu, i'm gonna give my boy similac.. cos he had it in hospital when my supply havent kick in.. and my hubby bought a tin to supplement my breastmilk during the initial days.. so got leftover gonna finish it lohz..

but i'm thinking of switching to cheaper alternatives.. else tough on the pocket man..

Jaclee, I let my girl sit on the bumbo seat Liao. Bt w/o the tray for nw since it's useless nw. I nv let her sit for long. Jus a short while cos neck still nt v strong. U c my fb gt her photo..

Carol, my girl nv bite her lower lip leh. I oso nv intro pacifier either.. Bt recently my girl likes to suckle to slp. Sian~

For the Avent steamer and blender, maybe when metro hv 20% storewide will be cheaper? I know 20% for bluetag but dunno Avent steamer and blender is bluetag a not.

Ainsley, my boy at first the hand will get stuck but once he get the hung of it he will move his hands out. He's naughty tdy I put him on the playmat on his back he keep on flipping n flippin. He try to turn back but to no avail arrggghhh....I think I've been turning him back more than a dozen times! Nw I'm still turning him back ahhhh!!!!! Btw any mummies know when will bb know how to turn back themselves??

Hi calamari and sharon, great to see both of u too! My loot is the learning home and the swinging band walker... Crossing my fingers to hope the learning home no defects, cos too bulky, can't open up to see... Yeah, arisz and I also went for drink at canteen after that..damn hot. After we left then a while rained le...heng..

btw, my bb also taking s26, coz at the hospital feed her that, so stick to that. my nieces also took that when infant. but i'm thinking of changing after 6m.

the $50 voucher is equivalent to 25%, that applies to avent products at the taka fair. but for the food steamer/blender, they don't give 25% off like that, only give voucher.
i also thought it will be good to have it, but that time went with my mum, she don't agree to spending on this,so never buy...but i will go back another time. lol.. coz i want to get the bumbo tray..

ainsley, yeah.. saw ur FB photos and genesis's.. but don't dare to let her sit yet.. else hubby will think can sit already, and keep placing her in there.. now we keep carrying her upright... can or not ah? coz i always get nagged by my mum not to carry her like tat...

talking about this, that day i go taka, so many infant BBs..! that time when i brought my bb out after 1 month, keep getting stares and pple walking past me will keep telling me, how come so young bring her out.. blah blah blah... aiyo.. so frustrated.. sometimes i already so stressed by her cries liao, then they keep adding oil to the fire..
 
Calamari, wat kind of suction toy? My girl does reach out to hold things nw. Even wana grab my iPhone lor.. She knws good stuff. Haha... Mayb can buy toys for her Liao.. Hehe
 
Carol, I jus let her suckle when she wants cos alot of time hor, I let her drink, 5 mins alr, she doesn't want. Hw I force oso dun wan even if it's alr 3 hrs. So when she suckle n drinks, I m at the same time v happy tat she's taking in milk.. Lol..
Nxt week I m ok bt others go bk to wk alr? Where to meet?

Ainsley, once flip to his tummy he will like enjoy himself but then after sometime he like tired liao he will make noise n frustrated. So for me it's kinda tiring for me, once I turn him back then after a few seconds then he flip again hai yo!

I'm ok to meet any time any where =)

Ainsley I bought the bumbo tray too but at isetan private sale cos it was 30% off. Wa your baby can sit already, maybe I should let my gal try. She also quite steady when she sit on sofa.

oh.. my girl has that since day 1.. but don't think its because of the FM, coz first month i didn't give FM.. now then she on TotalFM, and the nose block sound is getting lesser already.
my PD took a mirror, placed at her nose and check the fogging on the mirror. He say ok one, since got fog..
 
Yunzz, bumbo is the brand.. Taka fair has it. I bought mine at taka fair..

erm the nose block sound is partly due to their small nosetrils oso, according to my pd. ainsly, i stay @ balastier.wat bout u??

i tink small group easier to organise..

yeah, i do notice my girl's nostrils are bigger now. lolz! no wonder lesser blocking sound... hee.. then no need to worry lor, o_carol?
 
my gal juc fell asleep @ my breast again. dunno how to break tis habit of hers!! sianzzz......everynite mus let her suck till she zzz den i can zzz....
 
i hope so jaclee, cos got once my maid fed her fm as i went out to see doc, den the sound came bk again. so dunno if is really the s26 or her nosetrils baa..
 
Re : pumping / EBM while at work

For those mummies who going back to work / had gone back to work &amp; still continuing pumping EBM for yr bb, how's yr pumping schedule like ? How long u pump each time then ?

Becos my breast will feel hard &amp; engorged if dun pump for 6-8hrs then will take very very long to pump out.

My schedule is :
pump once b4 I go to office (when I wake up in the morning), another time during lunch time &amp; another time after work when I back hm &amp; if time permits, one more time b4 going to bed.

How long do u all pump each time ?

Do u pump until breast soft or e.g. u set a target say 120ml (both sides) then pump until abt 120ml then stop even when breast not soft yet ?
 
wow, look like more and more baby has fliped. Hope my boy dun flip these few days when I'm not around.

Genesis, what abt Phuket or Langkawi?Am going to Genting and Cameron in May. Wonder how big my luggage will be bringing the 2 kiddos along. For the 1st time I came Cambodia with a big bag. But inside is a bulky sterilizer and ice box.

Calamari and mummies that traveled recently. How did you transport your BM back? Do they allow you to hand carry or must chack in? Afraid check in they anyhow throw. Already get ready dry ice. So just need to freeze daily and bring back at the end of the trip. Lucky am auditing a food company. So have freezer to store my milk
