I don't know about the combination yet. It was my first try IVF.
If there were more tests done on individuals before we use the medications, more tests to see how well our body respond before we each are assigned to the different medications/jabs, then we won't waste the chance for trial and error. We all know this IVF procedure is expensive and for myself I don't want to waste the grant for trial and error. In other countries, first trial IVF is FREE! In Singapore it is considered "free", but on another perspective, we are using our medisave to pay half of it.
Just a penny of my thought.

If you are having steamboat at home, I think it should be fine. But if eating steamboat outside home, I am afraid there might be too much MSG in the soup base. Best to avoid?

Both of us have the same day result. Totally understand how you feel. I cried for two days and I stopped crying after seeing Dr Zou yesterday. She gave me the most comforting words ever and said she would try her best to help me and not to worry too much. I felt more relieved. By the way, my AF came a little on Saturday and full flow on Monday (yesterday). Today it got worse, really worse, lumps of blood clots came out, after taking the chinese medicine. The sinseh said the medicine is for clearing menses.
Yeah he's one of the best docs.

Just wondering, if cost overshot to expectation, can we pay bill by installment, slowly pay for those in KKH? Concern that will be super expensive when no support fm Government. Just want to try giving self a chance for my 2 frozen embryos. Whichever, i will go for Foster to help others.

Hi teddy75 not sure if KKh allows installment .... I did Fet in KKh 5 years ago , medicated was around $1500. Today at TMC paid around $2700... If u have balance in medisave , all these medisave can cover .

I was w Dr Loh before it becomes too expensive for me... i see celebrities at his clinic too. Shows how 'power' n reputable he is. maybe some of you ladies here are..sure, thanks sister!
haha... yes dr loh is very fast but we very comfortable with his mannerism and jokes cos he is very attentive and serious when we ask questions!

I recalled someone here in this forum mentioned about seeing Dr Ban Choon Chan. Can't remember who, but I think it is papercIip. If you do intend to see him, please queue up kana before morning sun during the days that he is opened, if you want to be the first few in the queue. If not, let's say you turn up at after 9 a.m., the waiting time can easily be 2 to 3 hours minimum. So please be prepared.

For new customers, there is this 1x consultation fee of $20. Subsequent visit only pay for acupunture $30 and medicine if any.

Haha.... I think best solution is to not go during weekends. Weekdays are actually quite comfortable =)
If weekdays, go around 10.30 - 11am, should be ok. If you still want to make it to work, start queuing up at 8am, you will probably be done around 9 or 9.30.
If weekends, go around 6am to queue up. Even if you go at 8.... also too late already. By that time the queue would be very long...
U took 7 days of medicine right? 1 day is $8 for 4 packets. So medicine itself is $56 + consultation $20 + acu $30 = $106
I also have the same doubt when i visited her the 1st time. So i ask for the breakdown and uncle issued me a receipt

Frankly, i am not sure. I had her medicine for 4-5 months but never see any significiant difference. But people always say tcm unlike western medicines, takes longer time to see results. I have stopped her medicine for 1 month already. Cause on many supplements now.

Hi babe cramps or twingy feel or tug feel or pain is usually Normal with the jabs. I had diarrhea after my first iui back then then a day or 2 later there was sharp pain till I was rolling on the bed but it subsided after an hour. Rest more but if pain persists always call up your clinic to inquire

U took how many days of med. I remember med is range from $10-$15 per day? $106- $20-$30= cost of medication.

I have ordered ubiquinol from iherbs, was thinking if I should eat both the western pills and tcm herbs.

I also only have few years to persevere cos ivf has a cut off age. Now can only look forward, continue to build up health, follow doc's instructions, and pray!

Patn are you with Tfc? If they didn't change the policy you can tell TMC Tcm that you are doing ivf with Tfc. They have discount for Tfc patient.

Don't worry patn, not all acu point r painful. Dr Zou put 5 on my tummy area, 2 on each leg, then 6 on the back. Mostly no feel until she connect with the electricity. She is very nice, she will talk to me while she do her needles so as to distract me from feeling scared. Ivf injections are far worse than acupuncture, if u can pass through those needles, you won't be scared of acupuncture#FAINT# so many needles and front & back is your pee and poo sides? sounds frightening painful!!

I do have bad pains after trigger jab. Think it's normal. Side effect of jab.

If you really have to think about it, focus on at least the one reason it will work and forget all the reasons why it won't work.
Focus on the possibility and hope of your bb in your tummy and in your arms eventually.
Just breath, keep breathing, keep occupied, get distracted and hang in there sister!

Must rem the most important thing is balanced diet, sufficient hydration and don't obssess as it will cause stress.
Soy food is not one of the foods that must be avoided absolutely. Taking it in moderation as part of a balanced diet is fine.
I personally avoid non-organic soy food more for risk of GMO on health regardless of TTC or IVF. Use of GMO corn crops is very prevalent in soy foods.
Soy has very high phytoestrogens (plant based estrogen) which is good for the body as long as not excessive. However I would instead take more of other varied source, e.g. red beans or any other beans, collard greens or most leafy veg. E.g. Adding 1-2 bowls of red bean soup has less risk of excess than adding 1-2 portions of soy food everyday.

Dear sister. Don't worry too much. Different docs have different treatment preferences and also every patient is different so the acupuncture sites not always the same. The acu needles definitely not as painful as stim jabs, in fact, sometimes don't feel much.#FAINT# so many needles and front & back is your pee and poo sides? sounds frightening painful!!
