hi, i gave birth to my boy, preterm at 6 month. currently he is doing well in the NICU However my biggest problem now is housing.

it seems that renting a room is not a possible way after many tries, as they dont accept baby.

HDB wise replied to me with "not eligible " to rent a one rm flat

what else can be stop to find me and my boy a place to shelter ourselves??

Maybe you can try approaching Reach Family Service Centre. They have very nice social workers there that might be able to help you look for shelters

i when to MP three times for housing problem but HDB reply is still no while e MP keep saying able to get.
so now i send in application request to HDB waiting for their reply

went to my neighborhood FSC, but they say must wait till baby is born and see how to tackle the problem. but so far no reply from em too

but your baby is already born right? try calling them and visiting the MP again. Tell the MP your current situations and try to get the relevant documents and pictures to prove that your bb is in the nicu. Let them sense the urgency and hopefully their actions will speed up. hope this will work

I think thats only entitled to divorcee single mum because I'm actually a unwed single mother myself and i went to the MP quite a few times and two different MPs also but my appeals were rejected. Even baby bonus also cannot get because unwed single mothers and divorcee different treatment
