Prof PC Wong - IVF with Norethisterone

Hi Maomi

Yesterday appt with KKH first done...diagnosed and the Dr Tan HH opinion go with IVF and ask when you want to start....I told him asap. Spend $600 (cash) yesterday to see him and a lot of blood tests...

Given 21 days of Provera to regulate and make my mense come by beginning of July and start the cycle of IVF.

Do you think i should still go for PC wong appt which is 24 July or not...I cant make up my mind.

Opps!!! What a blunder I made. Haahaa!!!

Gonna start next thu... Still recovering from my flu. Not feeling very much excited. Jus hope everything goes smoothly.
 
Joelle, since you already spend the $600 for blood test you still want to see Prof? What is you need to spend another $600? ha..
 
Had my scan today.. Pack with ppl today.. only manage to complete everything at 9 plus.. reach office at 10am.. so late for work..

Pratiksha, you try go as early as possible to be no.1. Cos you need to take blood and learn jab too.. so may take sometime if you rushing back to office.
 
Hey gal, hahaha... If you are comfortable with Dr Tan then no need to go to Prof aldy. Unless you want to see 2nd opinion, then rem to bring the blood test report so that no need to redo. Long protocol?

Yeah, blood test is about that cost. I did my blood test in Raffles, also that kinda price hehe.

Hi Miraclez,

Taking tcm med for my flu. In the mean time also drinking ling yang and 夏桑菊 to reduce my heatiness. Feeling better now. Still got slight cold.

Yr scan results seems good!

Btw, what would I expect in the first appointment?
 
tsf: try to drink more water and flush out all your heatiness.

during your first appointment, Prof will scan you to check for cyst. if everything cleared, you will proceed to level 4 CHR to take blood test and collect/ learn your jab. =)
 
Sorry, extremely bz today. Mmm, no particular feeling after jab just very tired. I took a pack of immunocal today n took one sunny side up whites
 
Maomi, good to hear that u are feeling okie with the jab... I had bad headache the first 2 days... Yesterday receive news that my E2 was too high.. 4000 plus... N dosage was reduce... Now so worried that ohss will come n Cycle will be cancelled... =(
 
joellejo: Since u have already paid $600 for all blood test in KKH. I suggest you just stick to Dr Tan. Dont waste money to pay another test. hmmmm

Joellejo, importantly is whether you are comfortable with dr tan. I believe dr tan is ok cos my raffles gyne did recommend him as well if I wanted to go kkivf. However it is my personal preference to choose nuh cos I didn't have very gd experience with kkh when I went for consultation to do hsg. Don't think anybody is able to tell u what u should do. But based on the dates, u might miss July cycle for ivf if u go to prof.

Miraclez, so fast orr... Monday will be my 2nd scan. What time do u jab your gonal f? I jab at 9pm do like can sleep through whatever symptoms.

Thanks for ur comment. Mayb I postponed the date to see pro pc Wong to aug... If it does not work out in Kkh for the first ivf mayb shift to nuh. Hope no need to switch!

Ya if I wait for PC Wong I might miss the July ivf chance...as now start taking provera for 21 days to make mense come and start ivf . Do u all know y need to eat so many days?

Hope it work out if not i will shift to nuh after tat.

Maomi: ya.. Monday is 2nd scan.. Ur first scan is when? I usually jab around 8.30pm to 8.45pm..

Nel: how are u doing? Feeling better? I think better to avoid sex now ba...
 
Miraclez dont worry will pray for u that this cycle will be fruitfull successfull one.

I still have not got my periods..r they going to cancel the cycle if I dont get my periods before monday morn.

You just finish ur nor-e? Nurse told me they will start regardless of AF.. U seeing prof on Monday? What time? I will be there at 7.45am...
 
Me too on Monday for 2nd scan (first scan after jab), 745am. Gosh... Will be crowded.

Prati, regardless whether menses come or not, they will start the jab.

Ok, not too bad, usually for gonal f is the later part then feel bloated. Took immunocal n 2 egg whites for past two days , not sure whether that helps
 
Good to hear that... I so bloated after 3rd jab le.. Think I super high risk of ohss.... I eat 4 to 6 egg white a day lo.. Stil so bloated..... Sigh.....
 
My amh is not as high as u anyway.

Yea I know ling yang is very cooling. But that is what I really need to prevent my flu from getting worse, better than still sick when I start the jabs this week... Now already stopped drinking all cooling tea.

The weather have been very hot and hazy nowadays. All sisters should try to drink lots of water and dun fall sick!
 
Done at 830 with scan, bt n collection of jabs. Starting cetrotide tmr morning. Today scan is 7 follicles right 6mm 8 follicles left 8mm. R u the gal in pink Dior bag?
 
Hi hi!

Jus checking, AF have to arrive before the start of jabs right? What if it didn't come? I stopped Nor E on sat. Feeling stomach cramps since late of last week till nw.

How is your lining? and when is your next scan?
 
tsf: your AF should be here tomorrow.. I stopped pill on wed and AF came on Sat. Anyway they will still start with the jab regardless of the AF.
 
miraclez, that means I was done before u came.... I was the FIRST patient again AHHAAHHAAHAH..... Kiasu! :p Prof didn't say anything about the lining. Jane said my follicles increased from before jab,which is a gd thing. I guess should be ok after just 4 days of jabs. This afternoon CHR will call to tell me how much to continue.

AHAHAHAH, I wish I'm a fish, then I dun have to smell the haze... arggggh

tsf, your menses should come by Tues or Wed based on Miraclez and my experience last 2 weeks. Regardless whether your menses come or not, they will start the jab. Prof will scan to make sure there is no cyst
 
Miraclez, I duno when is my next scan, Prof didn't tell me. CHR will let me know later.

Hi maomi and miraclez...started jabs today ..scan was ok prof said 6 on each side..got my menses yesterday..
 
maomi: later about 1 plus CHR will call you to update on your E2 result and confirm your next appointment.

As prof was busy so I went up to do BT first before going down to scan.. Did you see me walking into CHR? ha..

Prati: what time were you done? what is your dosage?

Maomi.. btw no worries on the cetrotide k.. at first I was so scare when I see the needle and practising at CHR.. but all was shun shun li li.. needle longer but not pain.. and since the fluid was less concentrate then puregon and gonal f.. its less pain when pump in the med..

Hmmmph, I think cetrotide should be ok. You know when I first started using gonal f 2 years ago, I was given the same kind of components as cetrotide. It wasnt in a pen form. So i had to mix liquid to powder. Exactly the same as cetrotide. BUT its super painful ahahahahah. So the invention of the pens is the most amazing thing EVER! ahahahah.

Haiz, that means i have to wake up earlier to jab

During the Prof's talk, I thought we were to measure out 50miu or something? Looks like now no need, just jab everything.
