Whitetiger,
I had brown spotting which later became pinkish discharge on dpt13. I did bhcg bt on dpt11 but the reading was v low. the spotting got me dead worried. I literally bedrested for 2 days n took dr z lotus roots glutinious rice porridge n that helped stopped the Spotting. Finally went back to tfc to do my bhcg beta on dpt15. Dont worry n have positive thoughts !!!

hi Joyce,
i used cash for my natural FET in Oct 2010 as the nurse and dr sf loh advised me to save the medisave for future ivf cycles instead as one can only use 3 times for assisted contraception.

Whitetiger, can u insist they do a bhcg BT earlier for u? Since only 3 more days to ur actual BT. Stay positive and have lots of bed rest. I had v diluted staining on and off up to a day or 2 after BT but they r not menses type blood, and normalize by now. Think our bodies response differently to the meds, esp ivf is so drug intensive. Sarah, well... Only 5 out of 12 >15mm.. That means the rest most likely not matured enough to be fertilized after ER. dr On duty said cannot inject anymore.. If not the big ones will be sacrified.. ESP the biggest r 18/19mm.. Me not much confidence with this junior pretty dr.. Initally wanted me to inject today one last dose and trigger shot tonight. But after she think think she concluded not much impact Also since hcg trigger is tonight!
So few matured follicles.. Though dr Loh will retrieve all.. The dr on duty actually commented for my age very gd already! Faint!
So ER will be Sat n ET on Monday...

One is pregnyl the other is oil based jab i think it is called proluton.
You need a letter from your dr to tell GP that they need to administer the jab.
I did not but everything at one shot. I remember buying like for 3 or 4 jabs as after that usually we need to go for another round of check up. So when i need to go NUH, i will jab there and get a new stock again.

Hazel, 7 days jab is really very good respond towards the jab. Another 2 more days before ER so the small 1 will still catch up a bit and mayb will hit 18mm too. Last time mine was 14 jabs. Every scan also increase dosage. Im poor responder.

Hazel, Ya, u cant do anything now... dun worry too much as u got 5 follicles more than 18mm. it is sufficient liao. I remember ur fertelisation rate is quite good, so if all 5 fertlised it is good enough.
We only need 1 good embryos to success. Good luck ya. Btw, ur this round of ivf shld be not so expensive...
hi ladies! im starting my ivf this June at NUH! So exciting yet so worried also cos my egg reserve is very high at 50+! Gynae already said to take care and look out for OHSS sympthoms once egg retrival starts. So worrying! :S

Sisters! The nurse just called... She asked for me with an "emotionless" voice. And I was so worried... Then she said "You are tested positive!" Phew!!!
I am just so glad that this is over for now!!! Am supposed to go back in the afternoon to get more instruction. But I told her I will go tomorrow morning instead. I feel a sense of relief really!

oh, is what u experience last night consider cold/ hot flush? I hv it during my last 2ww n last night too. I was so cold though under the blanket n dun dare to move at all as i will tremble if move. Later will feel hot again.. It happens ever since i start ivf, sigh, guess this are the side effect fr all the hormone injections. ;(

me too broke under tccing this few yrs. I've tried 2 iuis, 2 so-iui, then proceed to ivf and FET. Gone through 2 surgeries, one to remove ectopic and endometrosis and the 2nd one to remove re-ocurring endometrosis.
Do u believe in tcm? A few of my friends conceived via tcm. Like 2 of my friends under dr zou conceived after 6mths of treatment. To improve your chances in FET, you could try for 2- 3 rounds of acupuncture 3 days before ET (dr zou) to improve the blood circulation to the womb. At the same time, can request for baby aspirin from dr sf loh. Before trying FEt, try to improve your body by taking tonic black chicken soup and red dates with wolfberries tea (recom by dr zou).

Hi Ladies, thanks for all the concern, I am ok by the morning. Thks Suyana and Bakaholic for the info on the jabs. I bought some of the supplies and will get the nurse from my gynae to do it next week.

I was worried if I was having some infection but no fever leh. So quickly go check out and found this to be possible during pregnancy. Never heard of this as a symptom but I read other US forums, many ladies, whether early or late pregnancies experience this. Joyce wat stage are you at now? 2ww?

Hi Liyan,
yes. you can drink daily. Just mix 5 seedless red dates and some wolfberries in a cup, pour in hot water and cover up. Then drink the tea and finish all the ingredients. Its suppose to improve blood circulation and production. Dr zou recomm to me after i told her that i get dizzy spells easily after recovering from my flu (flu lasted 1mth). I was completly drained.
And to top that up, you can drink double boil black chicken soup with herbs such as cordyceps + "pau sen" + "gao li sen" (korean ginseng)once a week and if possible improve in-take of beef (high in protein) and to have double boil soup (try to have ard 3x per week). You can also supplement by taking chicken essence. I tried this remedy and BFT naturally in a 1mth. My sis-in-law who has been tccing for many years said one tai tai recommended her the remedy of taking 3-4 times double boil tonic soup per week, and very impt to take black chicken herbal soup ( at least 1x a week). This will improve the overall health of woman. And taking of tonic soup should be done after your menses has cleared around the 10th day of your cycle. My sis-in-law follows her remedy and her menses which used to be inaccurate becomes 28 day cycle and she felt that it improved her overall health and emotion and she continued for 5mths eating this way and she got preggy.

Am with tfc. Asked the nurse abt doing early bt but she say better wait till sat.
I think I'm out of the race already. Started getting dark brown/black discharge instead of spotting. Head tells me must be af come... Butmy heart still hopingformiracle. Will wait and see till tom, see how.
