I think 3rd claim is 4k coz we r allowed to claim 15k in a lifetime for ivf treatment...
 
:(Gals, seems like its end of story for me. Embryologist just called my hubby saying out of the 16 eggs I have only 6 mature and out of the 6 only one is fertilised. Embryologist wanted my hubby to go down and produce another fresh sperm sample to try to fertilise the other 10 eggs which they are trying to mature in the lab. Hubby couldn't go down to produce sample and so we are using the backup sperm. :(

Think my eggs really have problem. Haii
 
Feeling so sad.. History repeat itself again.. Went from happy with a good number of eggs to now same thing, eggs not mature. Haii

Got a feeling that whatever is being fertlised will be abnormal. Seems like going to end at ER again. Haii

So sad... :(

He can't. He is conducting a workshop today with clients and overseas colleague. Hubby called to apologise and say can use the backup sperm.

Just got a feeling that things will be the same again.

Haii and I am back at work today but no mood to work now.

Can understand your stress. Don't lose hope yet, maybe they will manage to fertilise another egg. Will pray for u :)
 
Thank you Connie! To be honest I really don't hold any hope. This might be the last time hubby & me are trying. So whatever happens tomorrow or Friday, will just accept it as it is. Just spend time with each other and travel the world.

Pls pls dun be discouraged!! there is still hope....do not give up! if they willing to try means there is still a chance!

Am with kkh and yes all 6 were via icsi. My first cycle retrieved 5 and all immature. Managed to mature them in the lab and and 3 fertlised but all abnormal embryo.

This cycle the protocol was changed and I was given a much higher dosage of hcg for trigger and although got 6 mature eggs but 5 did not fertilise. Ultimately I think it boils down to egg quality problem.

I have googled and it's quite rare to have majority or all immature eggs. Really dunno what's wrong with my body.

there's 1 fertilized? dun give up hope.. we just need that one sperm n one egg.. the one fertilized one could just be that destined one for u~

Thank u everyone! Only u all understand my feelings. Feel so shitty at work and trying to hold back the tears and lying to people that I am having flu. Think will go home soon.

Hi, if anyone of you staying in woodlands/Sembawang/Yishun area want cooler bags I don't mind giving mine. Because I went through private I ended up accumulating 4 bags! My hubby & I have no use for it & we wanted to throw. Den I decided to keep it to see if I can give to anyone who needs it.

Plus we can't give to family Curz it has the fertility clinic title on it (we are not telling our family abt the ivf except for our parents)

So if interested can msg me? (All good condition because we only use it 1 time to bring the syringes from clinic to home.)
 
When doing google search about fertility treatment, when comes to fertility treatment, male doctors have better reviews and success rate. Not much good news from female doctors?

Take a half day or time off and go for shopping or high tea. You will feel better. Sit in a cafe and chat with us in the forum also very relaxing. Don't think too much. Sometimes things are not within our control. We do what we can, and leave the rest to fate to decide.

It's better if u take the day off, go back & if need be just cry it out of ur system. I hope that the other eggs become mature & successfully fertilized.

I wonder also! Because for ivf I wanted to go see a female doctor as I'm tired of male doctors. But my hubby kept on saying no & asked me to see male doctor.
From reading online also most ivf doctors are male! And with good success rates...

About the cooler bag, how big is the size should I get? I have one super big one, 2 years ago buy turkey from Cold Storage, they gave me a cooler bag. That size?
 
Get the one from daiso only 2 bucks.
First time i got my lucrin, its a small little packet only. I just went home with the plastic bag and ice pack
Din prepare for second time also, worse 4 boxes of menopur, 2 plastic bags with ice pack :confused:
I very ill prepared. So just bought one from daiso for the visit this friday as need to bring remaining medicine back.

Hi,

As everyone is on different process, short or long and the medicine given are also different. It will be better to get slightly bigger I guess.
Lucrin is very small vial only but the box containing the needles are big (they do not need to be refrigerated tho, the needles is in a box, the lucrin is separate) so bring another bag if you do not wish to carry the KKH plastic all around singapore.
The menopur is about 17LX15Wx5H in cm for one box
Some others may be prescribed other meds together with menopur so do take note.

Hope this helps with your preparation, dun be like me carrying the 2 plastic bag around and waited 30 mins with it for the nurse to show me how to use the menopur :rolleyes:

How long after procedure can we self test whether bfp or bfn? If conception didnt take place how long after procedure should we expect AF to visit?

I do things slower than usual. Drank LRT and chicken essence to continue warming uterus. Light housework like sweeping but left the rest
to hb. Avoid spicy food, no cooling food either.
No tea no coffee. Some suggested not bending
too much but I find it hard so I tke it slower. But
dont carry heavy things. More bed rest and I
drink gatorade during first few days post procedure cos i was bloating badly. Today is my 11th day post procedure. good luck for ur ET tmw!

No need so big lah :) turkey bag is definitely too big. Plus remember the bigger the bag the more ice packs u need to keep the whole inside of bag cool.

A small bag is enough. Syringes dun need cooler unless it's the gonalF pens etc (puregon vials are separate and v small and so are menupor). Only the meds for jabbing needs to be kept cool and u can remove the packaging (fold down 1 pack for ref and keep separately) and just keep meds inside. For the usual support meds only crinone needs refrigeration.
