He's my ivf doc cum gynae. I duno hw much is iui but he will assess ur report n decide u need to do iui or ivf. There's gov grant u can use so no need to spend so much

i strongly recommend dr yu su ling from sgh. she is a very experienced n well-known gynae in the field of ivf. i had my first ivf done 2 yesrs ago when i was 37. the first one failed n 3 mths later i did a second round, and failed too. i managed to freeze 5 eggs from the second round ivf. i decided to take 1 year break to seek tcm treatment to prepare my body, and also to receperate from all the mental n emotional stress.
last year july, my tcm doctor gave me the green light.. n i did my ivf on the frozen embryos. It was successful and i just gave birth to a healthy baby boy 1 week ago

Thanks a lot for ur message.. 1st congrats on ur bundle of joy!!!!just ask you why u couldn't conceive in natural way? How old were u then?
because of my hubby's work schedule i.e when i fertle, he is not ard. i had epitopic pregnancy before and one fallopian tube was removed This further reduces my odds of being pregnant.
like u, i been tbrough iui too but failed. then i go for ivf, with govt subsidies n medisave for the first 3 tries, the amount to pay out was affordable..

Oh ok. Currently in seeking dr henry chng at bishan. I have no major issues so far just that each time my fertility period I have only one follicle on my right side. And my hubby abit of low sperm count. I was on serophene and on my 13th day will inject me for my forlical to work btr.. no improvement then did my iui n it was failed too I'm 39 quiet stress if no positive results..
it is a very stressful experience! i went through that for 2 years...
one of my friend who seeking treatment from dr yu also has same issues.. she was pregnant thr ivf few years ago after 2nd trial.. now she trying 2nd child w ivf.....
u believe in tcm? can seek dual way.. somehow i did the tcm herbs did help me..
most importantly.. mummy cannot feel too stressed..

Normally if hub low sperm count is go for ivf liao le. Why dun u try ivf? Iui success rate is high if ur hub sperm is good otherwise is a failure. Ivf is the way.

I did wen to TCM near cck but the doc says heart beat no good this no good ask me to take medicine weekly see him n it's ex but his medicine make me giddy suddenly suddenly wen I tel him he said it is normal but I didn't feel good taking his medicine for 3 months
But ivf is really too ex rte? Can do in nuh?

If u go govt hospital like kkh there's gov grant but if u go private hospital n do i heard there's no grant at all. I got a ex colleague doing at raffles n first round fail already $20k liao le vs i do at kkh we use medisave to pay n cash only top up few thousand
i went as pte
ivf is a painful process but btg beats e psychokogical stress
If i am not wrong, Dr Tan do not do IUI, only IVF.
Better check if you are requesting for him.

My ovulation is gd, progesterone is high... However AMH is low.
My hubby sperm count is gd n high in fertility... We had a body check by dr
I'm worried Abt my AMH level?
But Dr will still proceed iui for me

My fertility specialist is very good. I have PCO (many small eggs but will not grow big enough for fertilization & my hubby sperm test is also not very good). My first child, I did 2 rounds of plan A and succeed. Currently my 2nd one, have not delivered yet, is on one round of Plan A. He usually will start on Plan A, before moving to Plan B (IUI) and last resort Plan C (IVF) but very seldom his patients need IVF.
During my first 2 rounds of Plan A, similar to you, I had injections to grow the eggs but I only had one leading follicle (the other 3 eggs did not grow as big), then on Day 12 I had an injection to ovulate the leading follicle. I did see a handful of success cases at his clinics when I am undergoing the "treatment" (he is a fertility specialist, he does not do delivery so you need to find a gynae after you conceive. He will follow up only till 3mths preggy, to make sure you "pass" the first trimester period)
He is very experienced but at retiring age too. You may like to consider him. He is Dr Charles MP Lim at Mount E Orchard. If you are considering doing IVF, then I think going to KKH would be more affordable with subsidies.
