@ emiko, don't be depressed. I have undergone 3 natural IUI and 3 assisted IUI and all failed...stay positive as I'm still trying...

i fully understand how u feel. because i felt the same last yr. i cried a lot after i failed my first iui. i went through 3 iui. then ivf. i failed ivf fresh cycle. i was so sad....that i cried almost every nights. now i'm pregnant from frozen embros
i can't believe it!!!! so don't give up.

I am in the middle of my research for a programme called pregnancy and parenting.
Could anyone who is willing to give an interview about what it all meant to you.
I know this is a very sensitive topics something which is very personal. But like how all of you are sharing your experiences here.
I would like these experiences to be heard by many more.
It will give them answers to who to speak with , which gyne to consult, what is the reality which is attached to IVF and etc.

Hi Angeline, great to hear that. We've decided to move on with IVF after so many IUI attempts. Any advice on what're the do's and dont's before IVF?

hi giselle,
nothing special to prepare before ivf except a lot of self injections. make sure u get enough rest and don't fall sick. i did my ivf on last oct. feel free to ask anything u need to know
by the way, which dr are you seeing now? my dr is dr L C Foong from gleneagles. very caring dr.

good day to everyone..i'm new to this forum,hope can learn more things from all of u.. 8) i just have my 1st iui on 12/2,doing iui cos my hubby was constantly overseas so it's difficult for us to have baby naturally.. jus wondering anyone conceive baby on their 1st attempt of iui? what special symptoms to expect before menses come to detect pregnancy from iui process?

hi jess,
even though i failed my iui, i know one of the signs to detect pregnancy before menses is spotting. that means some brownish or pink spot on your panty before your period. but not everyone will experience it. it's like my second embryo transfer, i was looking out for spotting. but nothing. nothing special happened. everything was like other cycles. so i was crying even before the result was out. but...the result came out positive. so don't give up even if u don't have any signs and symptoms before your period. stay positive

thanks for your advise & encouragement.. *) i do hv some discharge but is certainly not spotting,think it's due to medicine i'm taking (my gynae gave me some estradiol tablets & progesterone gel)..i was especially tired,giddy & nausea recently,dunno whether it's becos of the medicines i'm taking or what..do u hv this symptoms when u hv your iui?i was very nervous,waiting for the day (which is next week)that i can self test pregnancy,but of course i hv also prepared myself to accept the truth if it's a failure..

i didn't have any of this symptoms when i had my three iui. this two wks feels like two months, right? waiting for result is really tiring. good luck to u. update on your result.

yea,really suffered this 2 weeks,feeling nervous & hope result is positive,but on the other hand,still hv to console myself if it's a failure..afterall,like never see success case in the 1st attempt of iui..thanks,will update u on my result..btw,congratulate to ur pregnancy! 8) btw,how many months r u pregnant?

i met a few ppl in the forum who success in 1st iui. so don't give up.
i'm pregnant into just 7 weeks. me and my husband is excited as this is our first one in our five years marriage.
