Head Circumference 3rd Percentile

Hi ladies,

I am currently into week 35 and on my recent gynae visit it seems like my baby’s HC is measured relatively small at 290mm which falls at 3rd percentile. Her overall weight is average and she seems to be putting on weight since the last visit. Anyone facing the same issue? I’m concerned about the risk of Microcephaly. Kindly advise.

Hi, any updates on your baby? My baby head is also on the smaller size. Have been eating fish oil. Not sure if it helps.

Hello! Baby is out and HC is 32cm when born. Everything is good. Now at 1 month plus during her growth assessment HC is 35cm. Don’t worry sometimes I realised the measurements are not as accurate. Take it with a pinch of salt.
