Gynae's fees for caesarean

Hi, can anybody share their recent gynae's fees for c-section? (Not the hospital maternity charges). Any difference if it is 2nd time c-section? Many thanks

my gynae's fees were almost $3k for my 2nd c-sect this year, compared to $2.4k in 2011.
The increase in fees for 2nd csect is due to more difficulty in the op as there will be scarring from previous csect to remove, more time needed for the csect.

Thanks for sharing. Btw, did you do post-natal massage after your 2nd c-sect? If so, how long did you wait?

I didn't do post-natal massage after both delivery. #1 time was too bz n overwhelmed with baby to arrange for a session, and I regained my pre-preg figure & weight 6 mths after delivery. So for #2 I decided post-natal massage isn't necessary

Haha, good for you. I am still debating with myself whether to have one cos I did not find the first really helpful but now that I am older, dun know whether more difficult to lose the weight

does the gyne fee includes doc attendance fee? mine will be 3.7k csec with GA and gyne told me abt 400 dollars for PD which i forgot to ask if that is on per time basis or throughout the stay in the hospital...

My gynae fee of $3k excl attendance fee of $500. The pd charge of $430 was for entire hospital stay.

Pixie, I slimmed down much faster this round than during 1st preg coz v tiring to look after baby n entertain the toddler too.
