I am a PCOS FTM and I switched to Dr Tan from previous gynae as he has a package and his clinic at Toa Payoh is more convenient. Called up for an appointment with him. The clinic assistants are very friendly and cheery. My husband and I had good impression of Dr Tan when we met him for the first time. He answered any queries which we had. He also gave us his personal contact number in case we have any questions to ask him or in case of any emergency. This is a plus point for us as I had a high fever during early pregnancy stage and I could not contact my previous gynae (as I was only given the general emergency number and the person on the phone did not manage to contact the gynae as well) to ask what is the next course of action.
Do prepare for the long waits though. However, the waits are worth it as he would answer the queries which mummies have. The nurse has good blood taking skill too.
Dr Tan is skillful in delivery. I had emergency csect due to baby's irregular heartbeat. During delivery, Dr Tan was fast in making decisions. Recovery after delivery was a smooth one as well.
I would go back to Dr Tan if I am pregnant with second child.
