Dr Lawrence Ang's clinic is at Sembawang Sun Plaza. He's highly recommended by lots of mummies who had good experiences with him but do remember, every individual has different experiences
Some information about him:
1) There's always a lot of people. Husbands would have to stand by the narrow corridor outside the clinic and pregnant mothers might have difficulty finding a place to sit down in the clinic with the overwhelming crowd.
2) Dr Ang is always fast to give diagnose and one couple could at most spend 5 minutes inside. There is almost no time for reaction and to catch your thoughts to ask him questions. Therefore, if you do intend to visit him, do have a list of questions ready as you will be caught up with the fast pace and lose your thoughts and questions you had intended to ask...
3) His clinic is only equipped with stomach ultrasound. For mummies who are slightly overweight, it might not be a good idea to go to him. I belong to that category and when I'm about 6 weeks pregnant, he said "No heartbeat. No good." For new mothers, it can come to a shock when you hear things like that.
4) In case you come to the clinic without appointments, be prepared to wait an awfully long time. They will give priority to mothers with appointments first. You will tend to wait about 1.5 hours just to see Dr Ang.
5) No queue number. If you are an impatient person, no queue number display will probably makes you fidgety. If you really want to know how many more mothers before your turn, you will have to ask the nurses to go into the room and check for you.
