Hi Enigma,

Dr Heng is my gynae, she is fine..quite humourous..nice lady but very busy always fully booked at her clinic..Are u really seeing her or really find someone else as your gynae? When are u due?

Hi Engima,

Dr Heng's my gynae too and i think she's very friendly and nice. So far, i'm pretty happy with her. Her clinic's usually packed but the waiting time is still okay. Usually, i finish my appt within an hour's time.

My friend recommanded Dr Heng to me too. Usually i will visit her at bedok central. She is very cheerful and friendly lady. I am feel very comfortable with her so far. Normally the gynae consultations are short but if you have any question can anytime seek for their advice.

Hi Jas

I have just done a check on the charges for Dr Heng becos i am thinking of switching my gynae. Here goes the charges:

First consultation: $80.00

Subsequent consultation: $50.00

Scan: $50.00

Package from 4th month: $600.00

I am not sure if the $600 package includes the usual medicine eg: vitamins

Hope the above information helps!

Any mommies here has switched from KKH to Dr Heng?

Bad experience ! If possible do not go to her if u r still considering

Hihi, i just went to see Dr Heng Tung Lan yesterday. Had an butt injection, super pain man. But she seems to be quite good leh...

i was with Dr Heng for my first baby, and with her again for the second. She's the more mothering sort, to me, and I feel very comfortable with her. Don't really like the idea of a male gynae.

Also, think her package is very reasonable compared to some others I know. $600 includes the vitamin and calcium.

Extra cost if you want to get fish oil and iron tablets.

I visit her at Eastshore hospital.

I agree with Michelle, Rachel and Visha. Dr. Heng's is very friendly and comforting. Unlike the previous gyne I saw, she seems and sounds a lot more convincing in answering questions. The only thing is consultation is very fast. Do not expect to stay in her room for more than 5 minutes. Unless you have a special condition, I guess.

Hi ladies,

I think Dr heng's package has increased. Paying more for her consultation and the package price. but she is a nice lady, always smiling.

Anione delivered with her this year? and yup its true ation is like super duper short..haha and she is straight forward when telling you hw fat u have become [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif] haha

I delivered with her in Jan this yr. I go to her clinic at Parkway East hospital. Paid the same price for her package in 2008 and 2010. Don't know if it's increased since.

ya, she's very frank and will point out if you're putting on too much weight

Hi Mummies,

Can I check if there are any differences in charges should I see Doc Heng in East Shore versus seeing her at Bedok Princess?

I think there is no difference whether you see her in East Shore or Bedok Princess. She delivered my 2 princess (2007 & 2011). A very nice lady.

Thank u Pooh.

Oh oh... is there any priviledges for delivering at the same hospital as the previous one?

I delivered my gal in east shore back in 2007, would be choosing east shore again for the second one.

Nope...but seems like the "free" diaper bag is better than in year 2007, with added new gift from cordlife which is a big bag and a soft toy. Personally, I like the hospital enviroment and the staff are friendly. Other than that, Dr Heng is a very nice lady. Always tell me to lose weight ... now just delivered to 2nd one, ask me to try again for a boy.

Oh ... you same as me. 2007 and 2011

Yep...the hospital environment is very cosy and staff are friendly too. I like the fact that the mid-wives are in control of the situation even when gynae is not here.

I delivered my gal in May 2007. Now BB should be due end of Nov.

Change of gynae cos my previous gynae is located in orchard, and I want to include my gal in my appts to "prepare" her for the big day. Thus, would be stressful to travel so far.

I scare wait I want to deliver, I deliver in the taxi so choose somewhere near my place ... My elder was born in Oct 2007 and the younger one in Jan 2011. The other way round. My elder ger always went with me during my monthly check up. The nurses at the clinic also very nice.

Yeah...we have the same reasons to choose east shore. My office is at Eunos, so east shore was the best choice for me.

My first appt to see Doc Heng tmr. Hope everything would be fine and my girl is ok with the clinic environment.

I have very good experience with East Shore. It was my first time and the midwives was very friendly and patient. It was very assuring. The lactation nurse was very experienced too. Overall childbirth experience is very enjoyable.

My gynae is Dr Heng. She's a very cheerful lady. Her clinic is always full and her consultation is very "chop chop" but can feel free to ask her any questions. I had a natural birth. Not sure if it's because she is experienced but my episiotomy wound is not painful *phew*
