Hi Everyone,

I have shortlisted Dr Ang as my gynae for my 1st pregnancy. I am excited about the 1st consultation but am not able to find much information in the forum about her.

Can anyone who has been or is currently under her care share your experiences with me?

I understand that Dr Ang is very good but most threads about her stopped in 2009.

Does anyone knows the reason?

hihi, Dr Ang delivered my 1st baby in 2009. She is a very nice and patient doctor and always answers to my doubts and questions. She's also a very careful doctor and she always make sure that she makes phone calls to the patients personally for all the test reports results....I considered this as very personal service because i heard that some other gynaes actually left it to their nurses to inform the patients on the test results (What if the nurses read the reports wrongly?)

I'm not sure why the threads abt her stopped in 2009 but don't worry....she's still as nice and amiable as I just went for my regular checkup in Jan tis yr. Her smiles are just as warm and radiant!

How did you decide on Dr Ang for your 1st baby?

Is it ok to let me know what kind of regular checkup do you mean?
Is it for your baby or for yourself?

I chose Dr Ang based on some nice write-ups about her in the forum then. And since my 1st criteria is to get a female gynae, i decided to give her a try. The 1st visit was gd...i met her for the 1st time and i had a very gd impression of her. She's patient and she listened to my doubts.

And during my stay in hospital, she'll drop by and check if i'm ok and just to say hello. This visit is outside the "compulsory" gynae visit during your hospital stay.

My hubby likes her too bcos she's very precise and experienced.

The other time when i deliver my baby, she'll drop by and take a look in the middle of the night to check my condition as i was put to induce my baby. Personally, i think she is a responsible gynae and i think this is the most impt criteria for a gd gynae. And btw, she has 4 kids so you can ask her anything abt babies

The regular check is for myself...like the paps smear blab blab...

Personally, i think she's GOOD. I'll go back to her for SURE if i conceive again

Hi, she's my gynae too! Friend's recommendation.  She delivered my first child and I find her nice, motherly and patient.
 
I like her too! went to her for both pregnancies & recently just delivered my boy on 17 july by csect, she gave me a v nice stich, no need to remove stitches. any qns can PM me.

agree, shes a v patient doctor...
 
Hi, my first pregnancy was with Dr Ang. Really hv no complaints. She's motherly & does seem genuinely interested in ur condition.

Most of all, my delivery was smooth & recovery painless! I did not hv any pain from my stitches. I'm not sure if it's her or me or both, but that good delivery experience made me have no hesitations about having a 2nd one...

Had Dr Ang for both my pregnancies as well. She's very friendly and won't rush you and answers any questions you have, even if you call and ask.
 
berries: Dr Ang is located at Clifford & Gleneagles. Yes I believe she do, maybe you should call up the clinic to make an appt 1st.
 
Berries, I've visited dr ang yesterday. She is very nice and assuring. Both my hubby n I felt comfortable with her. When she did the scan for me, she even hold on to my hand, gave me much assurance. I managed to see my bb heartbeat & heard it too. Dr ang also asked my hubby to record it down hehe.

It's a better experience compared to my first visit to another gynae at Mt E. she is very patient n gentle.

Her nurses there are friendly and nice too.

woohh.. glad u like her.. & that sure makes her sound like she is worth the praises..

I tried contacting her clinic but was told that they had to rush to Gleneages so was told to call her back which I forgot.. kekee...

how long did u make ur appt to see her? btw where did u see her at? Gleneagles? I am still in the process of TTC-ing so thought of going to her for some test.. btw.. how long have u been trying before u strike?
 
berries, i went to Gleneagles...i made appointment 1 wk in advance.

u'll definately feel safe with her cos she is really gentle and patient. hehe.

actually i just got married in May this year, so it's quite a blessing to get preggy now.

hi berries, Dr ang is really very nice. She has been my gynae since my uni days. Very patient and experience. She is also very careful.

Currently preggy with my first baby.She ensure that everything is ok as my initial wasnt very smooth.

Nice to find little dr Ang group here. I am 6wk pregnant and is with Dr Ang as well. does anyone know whether she is experieneced with Twins pregnancy and delivery?

I'm going back to Dr Ang for my 3rd pregnancy. I chance upon her like 10 years, in 2002, ago while looking now for a new gynae for papsmear and have never looked back or look around further....She's great!! Love her, love her team, all so familiar with me & my family. She's caring and patient...very very personable person. And most importantly her charges are reasonable and not exorbitant like some obgyn do. You pay for quality and service it's definite worth going to her.
 
Dr Ang delivered my first bb in 2010.

She's great and yes, her charges are reasonable too. She did a great job and i recover really well from my delivery.
 
Hi, I am 16 weeks pregnant and with Dr. Ang. So far had a very good experience with her. As this is my first pregnancy, I have many questions and she answers all of them patiently. Overall good experience.

But I have my own doubts. Can any of her old clients here help me? Would like to know if she prefers natural delivery.
