Divorce with Ex Wife

Currently, we have been going through a divorce issue due to helper as my ex wife is always siding her fellow people everytime we have a big argument with helper and she is Filipino. I was thinking what is the maintenance like for the kid living in Singapore? is it under 1k for the maintenance of a child which should be including school fees as my son is less than 3yo.

I went through lots of trauma as she is framing and accused me a lot and talking bad about me to her friends and family. Our marriage was kinda short. Feels like a scam when i always thought about it.

Well, it depend on several factors. Contribution to the household etc as well.
Will it be contested or uncontested divorce? Is she PR or have converted to SGP?
Current house how long already and what's the distribution like aside for maintenance.

I do contribute by buying groceries alone and cook for the family but she has helper and she cooks for herself and the son. I am malaysian Pr and she is filipino.

its uncontested but the process took so long that I am putting more money to the lawyers. Somehow, just felt that my own lawyer is not representing me at times.

You both in SG? Like your case, you need divorce in Malaysia or in Singapore?
Uncontested why need add in more money? Usually is pay a sum and the lawyer will settle it.
Unless contested..

I believe she wanted in SG before SG is on the women's side. Its uncontested and they said that mediations of 2 are compulsory before hearing...signed up package of 2.5k thereafter, the cost is growing around 10k as of date. I m not sure in what case is uncontested, it is said its not contested if not going to trial, however, my wife was giving my hard time and switching of the agreements and prolong it.

your lawyer is playing games.
try to have a settlement with your wife and then get lawyer to write in the statement of fact. no dispute then everything will proceed
