No, I'm not saying your files are corrupted. I'm saying the parts of the forum (which we call records) are corrupted which is why you'll need to repost the message. We can't repair or recover our corrupted records.

Nope. My Compaq one no longer in the WTS section. Somehow it has been 'replaced' with the new one. Quite weird. I thought you guys removed it.

hi, some are selling home baked cookies/pastries/cakes on forum. i think this is against the law. theres a recent news article that states that unlicenseed bakings/cooking from home is not allowed. this is after the prima deli case.

i think someone should administer this cos we wouldn't want admins to get into deep sh*t should anything happens

Ever since somebody spolit the mkt, especially those obtained legal rights to sell, the section at free items have plenty of SELLING (can see fm thread title). wtb is not spared just because more ppl viewing + can post with no restrictions.

In actual fact if moderator let ppl access wts easily, the traffic on 'free' and 'wtb' would be reduced drastically and hence, avoid ppl purposely re-register new IDs to sell and sell. Also, forumers need not highlight illegal threads such as above.

Of cos, SMH wts has no revenue compared to SBrides. Therefore, my suggestion (others already suggested many times and long b4 me) is meant for trash can!!

btw, S.Brides has no restriction to sell so whoever what to sell, y not jump over if u not keen to share experience/thots here?
 
FH, no pt saying so much. some users can sell in WTS, yet they choose to post in WTB or Free sects; some users aft they post in WTS, they create another post in WTB or Free sects to "advertise" their link in WTS. sometimes, i really wonder, wun all these take up more server resources? actually, no pt restricting as pp can just re-register for new nicks to keep on posting items for sale, some even link to yahoo auction or personal blog site, so even if mods aredi remove tt thread, interested pp wld hv managed to contact tt person aredi. if i really wan to go ard it w/out violating any rules. i can always create a nick, kept posting in wtb tt i wan to buy tis or tt, then i use another nick to reply saying tt i hv e items to sell. haha... who knows maybe aredi got pp doing such things! then they hv to pump in resources to monitor who hv reach 1yo &amp; let them hv access to e restricted threads, tink time can better spent elsewhere. anyway, like u, i suggested many times liao, so tis post can join ur post in e trash bin. wahaha... sometimes, e more u tries to restrict, e more will pp tries to go against u.
 
perhaps one solution would be to make it more tedious to register...e.g. gotta provide more personal data including an email address (if it's the same as the banned one then dun approve the registration)...this would not entirely deter those people who really wanna sell but it might serve as some deterrent?
 
working mum, pp can create numerous emails, so one can hv 1 email addr for 1 smh acct. hmm... unless smh goes to e extent tt u need IC # to register for a nick, then can ctrl.
