Anyone took the amino test at KKH?

Was wondering how long did you wait for the result. If is negative will the hospital still update you?
I have waited like 8 days but no call yet. Was wondering if they only update when there is a problem.

Yes i took it before animo result about 2weeks.if negative they wont call you. Only positive will call.

I think you should ignore responses like the above. I'm pretty sure she would not have appreciated an irrelevant, insensitive, and rude reply like that when she was anxiously waiting for her amnio results.

You must be extremely worried. I hope it turns out fine for you.

If i dont know how do i tell him n you just say i not appreciated an irrelevant? At least i know what going on. If you dont know dont anyhow say people. At least he know that he can relive his mind not to worry about and i let him know. I did reply to him what he wants. I did tell him to wait about 2weeks le n test this amino wish to get a healthy baby. Have or not still your baby. I have 2kids having thalesmia major even though i test the amino and i gave birth to them. Even though they need to do blood transfushion but they look like a normal person do you think i want to have this thing happen. Every woman want a healthy baby dont you who want to gave a unhealthy baby?

Hey sorry to hear that. I did not mean to be rude or insensitive. Actually the reason I ask is I'm concerned that this amino test may not be able to tell if the baby will be born with other conditions beside Down syndrome.
Regarding your children, even though the amino test is negative, did the doc say what causes the condition?

Hey is alright nothing is wrong not to worry. I dont know why he have to say this and i dont think is a rude or insensitive.Some young people do abortion because they cant manage and they need to kill 1life will regret.Like a parents dont have genetic history when test the baby have this clubfoot is a mystery question.Yes can like clubfoot,thalesmia and other thing. That why need to check and is a safe. You can see other baby have alot of different sickness like cancer and is a god that gift you a baby or blessing too. You can ask for testing thalesmia if you test down sydrome is a package in abit ex. Parents need to do some blood test too. Not to worry if no calls is a good sign. Recently baby have lots of sickness dont know comes from where too.

Hello, I'm just back from KKH. Did the test 2 weeks back and asked the nurse of the same thing. Nurse mentioned if no call is good news. If anything, nurse will call within 2 weeks. Hope it helps
