Anybody conceived during long-haul journey flight holiday?

Hi,

If everything goes well with Prof Choolani's test results review this Friday at 11:00 a.m. and he gives us the go ahead to try to conceive after my AF this cycle, we shall be having a baby made in USA, as we are going to HK next Wed (Sept 30), then will go to San Francisco together with my mom on Oct 5 (Mon), and will return on Oct 14 (Wed).

I am just wondering if anybody conceived a baby during long-haul journey flight holiday; and if so, what precautions did you take, besides not taking heavy stuff before and after the flight.

I have heard a lot of my friends said that they did conceive while having their honeymoon overseas; one of them even planned on doing an IVF; then suddenly, during the Vietnam trip with her husband last Chinese New Year, she managed to conceive her daughter, who is now 1 year old.

So I guess that the change of environment may do us good sometimes.

Hi. Have fun on ur trip n do rem to keep urself stress free n relax. One thing I realized about Travelling is that it affects my cycle so do bring along Ng the strips to test test test so that you will know when exactly is the golden moment. Good luck.

Usually when u are feeling happy n relaxed it is easier to conceive. I found out my preg the day we were going on our 2 week plus holiday to us. Which means i conceived 14 days before my trip. It was the first month where i told myself to hv a break from ttc after trying for many mths. Try not to give urself any pressure and enjoy yourself.

Well, saw Professor yesterday morning. He referred me to see endocrine Dr on Mon at 8:30 a.m. and to see immunology dr on Oct 20 at 10:30 a.m. And I cannot try before seeing the immunology dr, coz in case she said I should start taking steroids before trying to conceive, or prescribed me with other medicines.

Anyway, I can totally relax during this San Francisco trip.

I think going on holiday definitely makes both parties feel more relaxed and thus, takes your mind off stress points like baby making or other problems. But I do notice that some can't hold on to the pregnancy when traveling back on plane. So be really careful when walking long distance to the plane etc.
