Learning vision @ raffles place do not allow parents to see what is going on inside their infantcare area beyond the baby's first day at ctr. So it's impossible to 'spot check' on how my baby is being treated. They claim to be transparent to parents and keep insisting they are not hiding anything. But when I tried to put one foot inside the infantcare main entrance gate, I was stopped. So tell me, how are anxious parents supposed to catch a non-sensored glimpse of their own baby in the hands of someone else?? Btw there is NO cctv in the infantcare area, and most of the teachers don't have a habit of giving regular updates on how baby is doing. They will ask you to refer to the daily record book, which is far too brief to be useful, eg. It doesn't even say whether baby has finished the milk/food, or whether baby had watery/runny stools, or whether baby liked the new food item you recently introduced. Basically most of the teachers don't feel that communicating with parents is an important part of their job. The principal also leaves the running of the infantcare largely to the teachers and doesn't interfere with teachers' judgement... potentially very dangerous as there will be no one to challenge the teachers, or keep them in check.
