Any comment on Dr. Adrian B Woodworth from Thomson Women Clinic

Memorablechocolate, ur labour is so short! Very gd! Induce usually ends up in long labours, mine took 12-15 hrs so I am totally not keen. It's torturous for me.

I just have my #3 delivered by Dr Adrian on 11 Mar. All my three pregnancies were delivered by c-sect as firstborn was in a breech position, second was too near to the last c-sect and third was due to low placenta. His stitching skills is really good as for all the c-sects, I was able to go down the bed in less than 24hrs. For the latest one, I didn't even take any painkiller until the next day, the nurse insisted I should take since I will start walking.

Have a few friends whose bb also delivered by Dr Adrian, all natural births. I believe he would only advise c-sect where it is necessary.

I am seeing him for my current 1st pregnancy. 35th week. And when I asked him for birth plan, he told me the plan is simple. Natural birth. So I thought he is quite pro natural. Hopefully I won't being induced as I hope to try for w/o epidural.

currently seeing dr adrian for #2. #1 was delivered by him too via csect. Man of few words but u r definately safe in his hands.

Anyone recently delivered? Wld lik to know e cost of csect 1bedded at TMC..

Nemo

I just delivered on 11 Mar via c-sect at TMC. Supposed to stay for 4D3N but Dr Adrian discharged me 1 day earlier. Stayed in 1 bedded room. For 2D2N, my cash topped-up was around $4K and the other half paid by medisave.

hi mousebb, does it matter if deliver on a weekend/weekday? tmost mummies said its cheaper to deliver on weekday but i ask the clinic admin lady, she told me is the same price.. confuse.

hi hapieger,

Never heard there will be a different prices for weekdays and weekend.

My girl was delivered on weekdays, the bills all the same.

I was under Dr.Adrian too for my 1st bb.
Due to getting closer to EDD, he told me to induce too, coz afraid bb is too big later might need to c-set.

Due to it, i was crying over 3 nights.. till the day admit to hospital for induce. coz i really want to natural birth.

End up i have to give in, coz bb is most important. Last scan bb weight 3.2 Kg
Actual deliver bb weight 3.5kg, which is consider big bb.

Induce,Assisted delivered with Forscep, without epidural.

he didn't tell us in the first place, when he decided to use forscep. I just found out when i read my bb health booklet in detail. Feel so sad too that time.

but anyway, stich superb skill, i didn;t go back to see him after delivered. he told me to go back to see him but i did not. coz i feel i am ok.. too tired after delivered. dun want to waste time to Q to see him.. just want to hear he says: "ok, fine, rest well." (he always tell me during my visits).

Still will go back to him, if i have no.2

one of my colleague is under him too.
she decided to C-set, when Dr.Adrian found out the bb stop growing in her vomb.

Her sisters's babies all under him too.

Yes, mine at Mt.A

but i read somewhere forum here, he prefers to deliver bb at TMC instead of MT.A

you may check with him.

Hi mummies,

I'm in 37week+ now n went to c him ytd. My bb head still yet to turn down n Dr Adrian suggested if nxt week still dun turn hv to choose c-section. N he mentioned that if 38weeks still not turnin mean even till 40wks bb oso wun turn. I feel tt he want to earn more n convenient for him if we opt for c-section.

Anyone feel d pain after r c-section? Isit difficult to heal compare to normal delivery?

HOW MUCH DO WE NEED TO PAY IN CASH FOR C-SECTION?

jacq, i juz had csect by dr adrian las wk. cash for 1bedded is ard 4k. e rest by medisave. recovery is fine. i can walk ard e nxt day.

Hi ladies, how much is the package with Dr Adrian and is delivery charges calculated separately? How much can we claim through medisave?

I am very disappointed with Dr Adrian..

There was once hub and i, both are down with diarrhea. Mine was more serious than hub's and i was in my 2nd trimester. My hub's GP ended up being way more detailed than Dr Adrian. Hub's GP took time to check his tummy, source of contamination n asked him many questions. Dr Adrian just brushed my diarrhea problem aside. He did not do any checks on me and merely prescribed medications. The GP n Dr Adrian visits were on the same day.

And my last visit, he was very preoccupied with searching online for a hotel while seeing me and after i left the consultation room (which normally only takes 3min no matter how advanced you are), he forgot to take my bp.

Maybe he might be good in delivering but the prenatal process is definitely not good.

At first I thot he was a very kind gynae. I change my mindset of him now...I think I hv post natal depression and informed him but all he did was to ask me to look for DR Helen Chen of KKH...I read from other forum the ladies who hv depression once told their gynae, their gynae will quickly send them to the psychiatrist. Anyway, I was supposed to deliver in Mt Alvernia but Dr Adrian told me Mt Alvernia was full house on 30th April 15 but how can that be when I already booked in advance myself but I trusted him as he is my gynae. During the 6th mth of my pregnancy he also mentioned that I can try natural birth but later at my 9mth, he told me very risky as mine is IVFed...but he knew long before....I definately regret gg to Dr Adrian. But mayb my was pure bad luck....
