Advice needed: Menses late but negative preg test

Have been feeling rather frustrated as I am unsure what is going on. My menses has been late for 5 days and I experience changes such as - dry mouth, dizziness, cramping on one side, frequent urination, headache and increase in appetite. I really hope I am pregnant but the test kit seems to tell me otherwise. Any one experience this before?
 


pokka you late for how many days when you did urine test. Me 7 days late today and urine still neg. waiting for blood test results. I think mine is just a chemical fertilization

Hi Evelyn, I used the test kit on menses due date + 3... and on the 4th day I got the blood test. Did it very early because I was on medication, and my doctor needs to stop the medication in case of pregnancy... If your menses is not usually late, suggest you still go to the Dr for a check. Take care.

I'm WAY late but the kit is still negative... i really hope to be pregnant to. I'm just waiting around till after CNY then book an appointment with Gynae.
 
i was travelling in Hong Kong and my menses was late for 1 whole week. who knows on the day i reached singapore, my menses reported!
 
yes, blood test is 100% accurate.
my menses was late for 7 days, i tried the pregnancy kit, the 1st result came up negative. Next day, i had blood test. while i was waiting for the result, i took another pregnancy kit again, result = negative.

(it says 99% accurate)
and now, my blood test result is out, it says that i'm pregnant!! 4 weeks!!

so don be anxious and disappointed, just go for blood test and you will know the answer.
 
Hi.. Maybe can try the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy test with Conception Indicator.
The one that will tell u how many weeks you are preggy.

At least I find this one more accurate dan normal ones for early detection.
 
wow.. the replies here are so encouraging. i missed my menses for about 2 weeks and tested 3 times oso negative.. btw during this period of time when tested negative, do you have any symptoms? i had a few earlier few weeks but now lessen abit.. like heartburnt, giddyness, smell of scented fagrance made me nauseaous..
 
I have longer cycle of period last month is 32 and this month is supposed to be 48 and now is already 38 and i am feeling nausea, headaches, dizzy sore breats especially the nipple painfull. Is it a sign? or just pre menstrual sign? but i feel wierd.. feeling tired been sleeping early.. and still tired especially after 2pm.. hardly open my eyes and my Urine test yest still show negative and gynae do the Ultra sound said tt my lining is thicker. is it due to period coming? can i still be pregnant?
 
went to see my gynae.. did scanning and urine test still doesnt have any sign of pregnancy.. instead scanned a few cyst ard my ovary.. that could be the cause of the delay in menses. give up hope for the time being.. my gynae even gave me pills to make the menses come.. but until now oso no news.

How long does it take for blood test result to be out? Can just do at GP or need to go gynae?

I have such issues too, went to thomson medical. The doctor told me no cyst and not pregnant and gave me some hormones pill to take to make my menses come.
 
Hey mummies why dont u drink LD Venus to balance ur hormones & increase ur chance better in gettingpregnant... Massage can also helps
