we used them early this yr. thumbs up for their food. its recommended by my colleague and i second it. worth trying.

Thanks for the reviews above. Great to hear it's good as I am looking to try new caterers, a change from my usual ones. I will try them for my newborn full month party end of the year.

Duck and kong ba bao is from main buffet $12 menu. I had ordered mini buffet for my daughter full month, service very good. Their curry chicken very nice.
Just placed order for 70 pax buffet from them for my same daughter's 1 year bday through Phone order service. The lady made my day.
Hopefully the food and everything turns out well. Looking forward for my guests' comments.

i ordered from them their mini buffet for my gal's birthday this month. very pleased on the overall. their curry chicken is very good! all gone! we bought baguette to go with it so our guests really enjoyed the curry. not enough gravy, so if you're ordering, ask for extra gravy.

It was my first time ordering from Meihao99. I wanted to go with Neo Garden but wanted to try something different.
Ordered from the $10 buffet menu for 50 pax (exact number of guests) a couple of days ago. Personally, decent food for that price. Nothing to complain about. There were mixed reviews from my guests when comparing with Neo Garden. Some said that Neo was better, some prefer Meihao while others mentioned that they were of similar standard. Lesson learnt: each individual has different standard of taste.
Portion-wise, there were some leftovers... I rather have leftovers than to have not enough food! I prefer ordering for the exact number of pax rather than rounding down the numbers as people tend to eat as much as they can when it is a buffet.
One point to note in generally would be that if you order those fried food dishes from any regular caterer, they will lose their crispiness unless they use those special heater.
These were the dishes that were ordered:
泰式黄梨炒饭 Thai Style Pineapple Rice - not much pineapple taste to it.
干烧虾碌 Cantonese Style Prawn - tasty but a hassle to peel the shells.
蜜汁排骨 Pork Ribs w/ Honey Sauce - everyone loved this dish.
咖喱鸡 Braised Curry Chicken - tasty, moderately thick consistency, had to scoop up the layers of oil.
鲍贝芥兰 Kailan w/ Sea Clam - regretted ordering this as kailan in generally are tough vegetables.
泰式鱼片 Thai Style Sliced Fish - fried fillets with sweet sour sauce on the side; as mentioned, fried stuff loses they crispiness. I should have ordered something else.
班兰鸡 Pandan Chicken - regretted ordering this; salty, no pandan taste to it.
沙律油条 You-Tiao w/ Sotong Paste - lost its crispiness, otherwise nothing to complain about.
蜜瓜西米露 Honey Dew w/ Sago - regretted ordering this; watery.
什果 Fruit Punch - no complaints; not too sweet, nor too diluted.
Service wise, they called to confirm twice. Friendly, auntie-like. I would order from Meihao99 again!

I agree with powerpuff. Their food is really tasty and value for money. I took their supreme buffet and everyone was complimenting on how good the food was.

Just had meihao99 on the 17th dec (nephew's b'dae). This is my 3rd time trying their food. Honesty speaking, the 1st time when I ordered for my wedding in yr 2009 is so much better. Guests have good comments.
Subsequently the 2nd n 3rd time, I think is not as good as b4. To b fair might be due to DEC when ALL CATERERS r bz, so food standard not too good.

I tried their food at my friend's baby full month recently and thought it was tasty and think of ordering for my son's 1st birthday. Guess from the reviews here it's worth a try. Thanks all!
