I agree with cheri that GUG teachers aren't well equipped in handling situations. based on my experience, they just here to squeeze u as much info into the child. there is no passion or human touch during the interaction....it is so mechanical.

i put zy with JG since she was 8 mths......i like JG's programs and the teachers are more passionate. one of the senior whom i was close with taught me a lot of things such as giving a child an alternative rather than saying no. Eg dun say "Don't run" say "Let's walk"...a more positive approach.

Unsure that JG is the most suitable, I went to try many trials on GUG, Zoophonics , Gymboree as well as My Gym. In the end, zy stayed in JG till 18mths, just weeks before we left. JG still the best choice for me.

The experience of the teachers is most valuable to me.

yes, i agree wif u too...most of JG's main teachers r indeed very passionate abt their work, patient n genuinely love kids..can't say the same abt some of the asst trs though hahah...some v clearly u know, it's just another job to them. actually, if we keep our eyes n ears open during lessons, can easily tell which teachers r those that genuinely care for the kids. my experience wif JG is like urs too...so far so good.

like i told abc, having a boy would probably bring a different kind of joy...very cliched but most important really, is that the baby is healthy. sometimes when we read abt babies being sick etc...makes us wonder why we fuss over the gender etc.
