30 days and 29 days is close enough. why would you say your cycle shifted? or do you have other examples?
Cos I experience between 28 days to 34 days cycle. So thinking ovulation hard to track also..

to me 28-34 days is still normal. but this is just my opinion.
for me right now is having a lot of discharge. need to be more diligent than before to change liners.

Same as mine, so that's why I need to rely on the ovulation kits
congrats! only 4 sticks? does that mean the first cycle? may i ask how long have u been ttc?

My AF reported today..
Mine is always shifting also. I use a period tracker to track and my cycle can be from 28-32 days plus minus.
In July though I missed my period for 7 days. It was one out of the norm which didn't happen before. That cycle was 37 days. Strange though. Never knew why but could be attributed to stress.

charnel...hsg might be painful for some people.
this is because it is considered as an invasive scanning.
i requested my gynae for painkillers before the scan.
other than that no bd prior to scanning. no bd for about 1 month after scanning. this is because we have chemicals inside us. might affect any feotus forming inside.

oh dear im so scared..im more worried abt the dye tat comes in contact coz i have mild ezcema. no BD for 1 mth? I tot i could try again tis month. sad

has the dye got the ingredient that cause your eczema? i think it has iodine something if i am not wrong.

hi ladies, anyone experienced super early preg symptoms? im about 1 week post ovu, 2 days ago i pee very often throughout the day, like 4 times within an hour.. den ytd i felt v nauseous at some parts of the day, and today the nauseous is worst.. i vomitted once so far.. but im not sure if symptons will show up so early??

Just bring extra pad for the hsg test as you will experience bleeding and discharge, like what jayjayqueenie it might hurt but depends on individual.
I didn't had any painkiller only felt mild period cramp during the process and is gone after the procedure 1 to 2 hrs later.
Oh, I did avoid BD wor.. hehe.. I just BD as usual but not the first 2 days after HSG cos still got slight bleeding.
Mine is no blockage hence not very pain for me. Good Luck!

u should see a fertility specialist.
remember fertility specialist is different from o&g.

Im doing this hsg test quite late after my menses and luckily my ovulation period is ard CD 17-CD22.. so i think i still can wait for a few days before BD hehe

Yep, it supposedly hurts when there are blockages. I had mine done last Friday and it was just uncomfortable not to the extent of hurting or in terrible pain. Jia you!!
haha nice to know yr assurance! some says its prob like pap smear? I dont recall pap smear being very painful but just uncomfortable? i hope tats the level of uncomfortable i will get

Similar to the discomfort of pap smear heh, just relax! cos tensing up with cause our muscles to be really tight and there may be pain. Just after that, prep yourself for some minor cramping...I only had cramps and very light spotting. And it was gone by the second day.

hahaha! i will relax! i hope the clearing up of the fallopian tubes will make me more fertile coz BD for baby is sooooooooo tiring!

Some say that this process helps with being more fertile so good luck!! Is the hsg the last of your tests?
oh ya! talking about the tests. so far I have seen a fertility specialist and he says everything looks ok.. i just went for a ultrascan and ovulation bloodtest on my last cycle. the gynae says im ovulating and my eggs size are ok but I keep getting BFN. so when I got my AF, he says since i didnt get a BFP, he suggest me to go a HSG test. Im always worried abt the pocs or endo issue coz I have not check tat out. so what is the next step after hsg? my husband is checking his sperm too..

Ah ok...I had 2 blood tests and the hsg before deciding to go for iui. Of course getting the hub's sperm tested is one of those tests taken before a recommendation is made. For pcos and endo, it can be seen through ultra scans...when your menses comes is it painful? I have a history of endo so that was one of the reasons for my infertility.
Ah..my menses is more of aching in my stomache and back.. i think its painful but not to the extend of affecting my work or life. I think i will go for IUI if i failed to get pregnant the next few cycle coz im not young anymore. my cousin she is doing IUI too..have to inject ownself for 5 days..omg. how brave! i still have to muster my courage lst. when do u plan to do the IUI?

Dun worry abt injecting. It's not as scary as you imagine. I used to be scare of needle. When i took the first jab of puregon myself (supposed to take at kkivf but i was in oversea), it took me quite awhile. Hub keeps telling me "not pain!" Then i told him "not ur flesh of cos not pain la" lol
But after i jab, i dun feel any pain. Cd6 they increased my dosage to 75u, feel a bit stinging when injecting the liquid. I only feel pain when i took e trigger shot. JIA YOU!!

anyone can recommend a good fertility specialist for checkup? scan, blood test, SA etc.
should visit gynae first or fertility doc? My gynae is Dr Tham from TMC but i am not sure if he do fertility check.

hi!this is very confusing and abit depressing.
My menses is still not here yet. I am a few days late.I am never late as my menses is quite regular. I did a HPT thrice and all three tested positive.I even try using he digital one and it i got a pregnant result. To be sure, I went to the doctor to get a confirmation.It turned out negative. I do not understand why I have differing results.
I am having most of the symptoms associated to being pregant. I am confused. Doctor adviced me to wait another 2 weeks before doing another urine test.
Can someone help me

maybe the test at clinic is not sensitive enough? positive on hpt should be 99% accurate

My gynae is dr tham too. I think he is a good gynae.. but maybe shld go for a fertility specialist? He did all the tests for me. Bt dont really tell me much. The clinic staff also dont. Most of the time is my hubby and i research ourself.

Hello! All went well...waited almost forever for my turn but it was over in like 10 minutes? Nope, he just told me to book another apptment on cd 12 if I was not successful. Lol...At least yours has blood test!

I did my HSG end of June this year, it was uncomfortable (not pain) but bearable for me.
My advice is to control your breathing, breathe deep in each time you feel that it is going deeper.
Right to the end you will feel like a balloon expanding which will make you feel anxious/nervous, BUT remember to take
note to control your breathing.
Breathing in more than releasing may cause hype-ventilating, so exercise control on your breathing.
