(2014/07) July 2014


hello all, this is my 1st pregnancy. i'm a blur mum - my husband actually suspected that i'm pregnant first! haha!
we bought the test kit on 5th Dec and tested positive, went to KKH the next day to confirm the pregnancy.

Gynae haven't tell me my EDD yet. but she says most likely my conception date is late October. so, i'm now into my 10th week.

If your conception date is late oct, your edd date should be ard end of july. As my LMP was 20 oct and I was into week 10 this week. I guess we got conceived ard the same time.

So far u dont have any morning sickness symptoms. ? As I have a bad ones esp in the morning. My Tongue feel matellic and nausea.

hi hi, during my 6th week, i had headaches, giddiness, nausea, low blood pressure. As for now, it's much better, only feeling a bit of nausea sometimes.
i also notice that i don't have much appetite, eating less, but i get hungry easily. haha!
 
Hi I am into my 12 weeks. Due in 13 July . Second time mum with a 20 months boy. Nice to meet all mummies here.

i keep falling sick i.e. cough flu sorethroat recently. feel very guilty about taking medication. doc prescribe dhadesyl (cough) and chlorpheniramine (flu) and Mac logenzes. 2nd-time mummies, any similar experiences and whether is it ok to take medications during pregnancy?

Me too. I start with running nose followed by slight sore throat. Coughing now. Whatever med doc gave to me. I din take. He gave me 3 days mc. I make hot honey and lemon. I still prefer natural remedy. Sleep alot alot. Flush with plenty of fluids. Worst feeling is I suffer from morning sickness. Vomitting and bloating are killing me. No appetite. Currently im on tcm. This helps me to reduce my coughing and morning sickness. Im at week 10 day 4. How abt u?
 
Please dont self diagnose and eat any kind of medications as some medications are extremely dangerous for baby! Go see a doc if ur unwell and tell u want pregancy safe medication...

I'm a 1st time mummy! Great to see many July mummies here:)
Currently 13 wks and was down with serious flu 2 weeks back till now haven't recovered yet. Took the same flu medicine as you...after GP and gynae's advice. Tahan for 2 days w/o medicine but it was terrible. If immunity super low like me probably have to take medication unless urs is a mild one then try to avoid.

I still find that listen to your own body would be a better choice. Since ur flu last for 2 weeks. Guess u should start med since u feel unwell. For me, I have slight flu(bearable with nose blocked sore throat and coughing) but due to the addition of morning sickness. I feel terrible as I have no appetite and extremely lethargic. That's why I choose not to take med and use natural remedy. Lemon and honey are good in treating flu.

I'm getting better day by day...coughing out the phlegm and hopefully can overcome this irritating flu by these few days.
In fact I'm same as u no appetite and nauseous. But the energy seem to be slowing coming back with better appetite when it reached 13 wks.. U take care too:)

About travelling (MTB going to Bintan), it's best to confirm with your gynae. I'll be travelling to SHA for work in mid - Jan. My gynae told me that there's no hard & fast rules, up to individual but requested me to take extra care.

Gynae. Can take chuan bei pi pa gao. Worked effectively for me and doesn't cause drowsiness unlike the cough mixture. Then cannot apply vicks for block runny nose k!
Mumtobe0813: I am coming to 15 weeks supposedly to be feeling the best time after first trimster but fell sick.
Dreamyling and snow: feel you too too. Immunity super low and fall sick never mind take
Very long to recover..
 
Hi please add me to the facebook page too [email protected] . Me too is sick during the first few weeks. I had food poisoning, then throat infection, then flu, continously! Now at my 12th week, feeling slightly better now, sometimes still feel the motion sickness, but now its getting better then before. Can't wait for it to totally goes away!
 
Hi mummies . I recently just suffered from diahrrea and vomiting.
Was thinking What Did I ate days ago.. I lost 4.5kg and was feeling weak.
Maybe I was dehydrate again as I don't urine much. I lost appetite and hope
To gain back my strength.

Does anyone feeling like contraction or tightening tummy?
I was thinking why I'm having this feeling at week 14. .

Hi masaki04,

I just took the OSCAR test today! 2nd time taking as its my 2nd pregnancy. Doc draws blood from arm, the joint part on the otherside of elbow? :p Not really pain besides the initial prick of the needle. Also have detailed ultrasound scan.

I tried taking Chuan pei pi pa GAO in tw when I was coughing terribly n the next thing I know my breakfast all went into the toilet bowl

the email invitation will take quite awhile. The FB group is a secret group, thus it cannot be found by searching.

Hi all, I was too emo to do anything for the past 2 weeks, be having morning/evening sickness ever since 2014 starts.
My edd is 16 July and currently 13+ weeks, done my down syndrome test last week and is still waiting for results.

Hello moms! This is my second baby, EDD 16 July. My first baby is 26 months now. I'm a SAHM.

First pregnancy was a breeze. This time round it is bad. My nose became hyper sensitive to every smell and I can smell lots of scents even from far and some turned me off. Also, I usually have good complexion. This time, I have pimples and acne at awkward places! I was constantly nauseous and so much wind in my tummy. Even ginger couldn't help me. Only a lot of lying down on the bed helped but it was hard because my daughter refused to let me lie down. She thought I would go to sleep.

Dear All Mummies-to-be,

I am currently having my first pregnancy at wk 13 this week, EDD will be 21 July 2014. Just did my down syndrome test last week, will be reviewing my result later this evening with my gynae. Currently i am visiting Dr John Yam from Acufem Women's Specialist.
