wonder how the doctors estimate the EDD. im at 8weeks+ EDD 1st Feb. (but 2nd scan became EDD 30th Jan) Yours is a week back but EDD 2nd Feb. 0.o
nonetheless, all is well is good news! ;D
 


Mummies, how should we prepare our child that a new baby will be joining the family soon ? I tried to tell my girl that she going to be a big sister and in future there will be a new family member in the family. She does not seems to understand.

Pearl, i have start telling my boy that mummy has a didi/meimei inside my tummy. So everyday i will ask him whr didi/meimei, can u pls sayang mummy tummy and keep telling my boy he going to Kor Kor next year. Have you ever hear b4 ppl saying small kid very "zun" to guess the gender and i will ask mummy is having didi or meimei and he will said meimei..lol make me so happy hopefully is true.

Hi ladies, after talking to gynae, I felt a huge load off my mind. Went for lunch with my hub and later treated myself to a pair of maternity shorts. My very first piece of maternity clothing. So exciting!

Although everything looks fine, my gynae gave me a jab today as a precaution cos he knows this is our long-awaited good news. I've to go back again next week and if i feel that everything is fine, I can choose not to have a 2nd jab. He even gave me a thumb drive with a 4D still pic and a short clip of the scan. So for each check up, he would just store the sonagrams into this thumbdrive

sunshinebb, Have u reached 6.5 weeks? I guess i sort of panicked after reading about mummies not knowing about baby not growing/ no heartbeat at about 8-10 weeks since their last check at about 5 weeks. It's the first time for me so more kancheong :p

Sunshinebb: I m super hungry too and I get hungry almost every 2-3h. Sometimes at night I ll wake up around 2am to eat. If I don't eat I ll feel nausea. Very zzz mood too and

I n looking after my 2 boys myself. Any mummies have any idea if its possible to look after 3 kids without any maid? I really struggled with the idea of having a maid but I really resist the idea.

my mum refused to help out as well but my mil is kind enough to offer up do confinement for me n see me thru a few months after birth

Hi mummies/mummies to be,

I tested +ve few weeks back. EDD 4 Feb.

This is my #2. #1 also Feb baby (2011).

He is also super clingy to me ever since I am preggy. I started telling him that there is a baby inside mummy's tummy & asked him if he want a didi or meimei he always shake his head and said NO! NO!

But these past week he seems like he is accepting it as I asked him again is it di di or mei mei? He said MEI MEI! I also hope its true... LOL

Other than that, very tiring to have a toddler & experiencing MS etc. Lucky still have help from hubby and MIL...
 
Vee>> There are prenatal classes at Mount A, TMC etc. I went to Mt A during my #1 as I was going to deliver there. Costs wise I cant remember. U can always check website or call them.

yslim, try not to move around so much. do give ur doctor a call. hopefully its nth serious but "buy" an assurance.

kitty, Mt E sent me their prenatal classes time and price. Quite expensive so idk how much the rest are. and if it is necessary to go.
 
blessed: i am looking after my #1 (13 mths) myself too. I am working mum. So day time my gal will be in infant care and i bring her home after work. Still need to cook dinner for her coz i am quite particular on what she eats. I am also considering a maid now but i dunno how to monitor the maid when I am working? My mum and MIL can only help up confinement.

The nurse says brownish discharge shld be leftover fr menses.. So jus rest more.

I cant wait for the weekend to be over too! In oversea now and will be back on Sunday night and first gynae visit is next Tuesday! Hope to hear bb's heatbeat too and the little beanie growing well.

Vee, I went TMC for prenatal class during #1. Can check for schedule and register online. My instructor was Wong Boh Boi and she is great...learn a lot from her. Hubby also very hands on...i think the class influenced him a bit...hehe. By the way, can you allow PM? Wanted to PM u my email add. Thanks!

Vee> I went TMC for prenatal class ( although i give birth in Mt A) during #1 and my instructor was Wong Boh Boi. I purposely chose to attend Mr Wong class due to the raves about her. She is so funny and we enjoyed the class very much.
 
haha...i also purposely attend her class coz of all the good comments about her. Really funny lady and super support bf. We enjoyed the class very much too. And she came in to my room to help on bf after i deliver...so nice.

JUlia u have e same gynae as me wor. Clap clap. When is yr appt nxt week? Due to my continuous spotting I got to go bk tmr for another jab den c her again on tue. Lol
 
melony, actually i also don't see much leh. Only my little beanie's tiny heart pumping. He didn't want to do a virginal scan for me so early in the pregnancy. He didn't charge me specifically for the scan, just the consultation, meds and jab. But he's expensive but after seeing him, i actually felt better as compared to the 2nd gynae and although hub still uncomfortable, he feels that as long as he's good for me & bb then he's ok.

Kittyki: So far, I don't dare to break the news of my preg to my elder boy who is 5 yo... he was v upset when I gave birth to no 2 last yr n I scared he cannot accept the fact that theres gonna be another addn so soon to our family.

Isabella: I understand what u mean... I quit my job just to take care of my 2 boys and it was v challenging for me this yr as I just gotten the hang of being a FT mother. I also cook for my boys as home cooked food is always best. are u ok with preparing the food? I felt rather nausea esp when I smell raw meat... Is your gal an march bb? Coz my no 2 is abt the same age as yours!

Blessed: hubby also asked me if I can be a SAHM... I believe SAHM is more challenging than working mum... Salute! I am still ok to prepare the food, basically I have no ms, now is 6wks 3 days. Try to cook other if u feel uncomfortable with raw meat. Try baking? I like to bake some muffins or pudding for my gal ( no sugar and no seasoning added). My gal is may bb, how bout ur #2?
 
oh Melony, yup Dr Yvonne Chan from TMC. My appt with her is next Wednesday afternoon. Was on Tuesday initially but hubs got too many meetings so changed to Wednesday. Hope all goes well for you.

both your gal n my son v close in age... yea, SAHM is indeed v tough as compared to work. Work though stressful its structured. I was comtemplatng to return to workforce after #2 has grown bigger, but sigh... accident #3. Thought everything is ok as I m still bf-ing, but still gotten preg.. For #1 and #2, have to try v long to conceive both of them.
 
Blessed: yaya, ur boy is 1 mth older than my gal only. Do u still have menses while bf? Like my case I still have le but for my colleague her menses only came after she stop bf. I took 2 yrs to conceive #1. So actually I can't believe I success to conceive this bb during the 1st month try... Until now sometimes I still asking hubby am I really pregnant or my imagination, haha.. I tested 4 times. Lol
