CocoNut, I have the sane problem ad you. Can't sleep soundly at night. Either dreaming, or bad position or pee. Haiz. Thought we should be comfortable in second trimester.

I hate bright lights n loud noise now.

me dreaming a lot too. n keep waking up to adjust sleeping positions. tried to place a pillow under my tummy and in between my legs, but my legs are very numb after tat.

Hi to all mummies,

I'm new here very happy to read all your advise here. Would someone update for me my details

Age: 29

EDD: 29 Jan 2011

Gynae: Adrian Woodworth

Hospital: TMC

Child: 1st one

Gender:

Area: Sengkeng

I would like to know any mummy have constipation problem cos I really have this difficulty. I have try to eat apple & drink prune juice still having this problem.

Hi Shalan, my gynae said tat the test will be perform at TMC instead of his own clinic. Where's yr gynae's clinic located? Not sure if it's cos my gynae's clinic is located at TMC itself, therefore they need to use the hospital facilites.

Think TMC charge about $700 for using their facilities and my gynae charge me $300 for his professional fees. All these are exclusive GST. But we can claim medisave up to $750. They did not say tat hv to add extra for knowing the gender.

Hi Elise, welcome!

For constipation problem, I had it for a few weeks in my 1st tri. I ate prunes and drink more water. Try bananas as well. It's better to eat fruits than drink the juices for more fibre. Also, go toilet when the need arises and dont hold back as this worsens the problem.

Greetings!

My name is Kim and I almost had to deliver my boy at 33weeks when nothing was prepared.

Now I help clothe the babies that arrive unexpected early and take away the storage problem when the baby out-grew these clothes.

I.e., I rent these small size clothes at a very low rate as compared to retails.

I also provide lists of useful tips (what goes in your hospital bag, items a newborn will need etc), for parents-to-be in my facebook profile. Look for "Babies Breaths".

I wish all moms-to-be here a healthy and safe full term pregnancy and supernatural painless and speedy delivery.

Sincerely,

Kim

Komathi, my amnio test is scheduled on 18 Aug when I'm 17 weeks. So still waiting patiently. Hope can see the gender by then also...

Hi furlin, thanks for your reply. I don't eat papaya and banana (don't like the smell) that y I think I have this problem anyway thanks.

Checking if any of u here got vaginal infections & did yr gynae prescribe anything? I did not hv any infections for my #1 but this time, i keeps on feeling itchy & got quite a lot of discharge. Wondering if can take any medicine for infections.

Hi Daphne,

I had. Gynae gave an insert n cream to apply.. I applied only the cream and it's cleared. She warned me that it will recur again ESP during pregnancy.

Thy can't treat this during the 1st tri

Congrats to those who already got to know your baby's gender!

Yesterday, I received a fetal heart detector which I bought from eBay last week. It is fun and reassuring to be able to hear baby's heartbeat anytime at home instead of having to wait so long for the next gynae visit :p

Sherill: thx so much!

Daphne: Dun worry.. all will be fine with bb.

Nisa: mine is on the 25th Aug..so likely we wouldnt be able to meet.. [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/sad.gif]

according to chinese calendar for mumies age 26-36 yrs those conceived in lunar month 3 will be 70% BOY and 30% Girls.

So far 100% boy [IMG=http://www.singaporemotherhood.com/forumboard/clipart/happy.gif]

Popomin, I'm in week 14 now too. Yes I hv a bitter taste on my tongue. Hate to drink water. Keep wanting to take sweet drinks but I've to force myself to drink water.

Wah 70% boy.... I highly suspect mine is a boy too cos of my bad pimple breakout. I'm gonna see a skin doc for it.

Hope can see baby's gender on my next appmt at week 17!

popomin: nah i dun have the bitter taste.. think its caz of ur pregnancy.
