yup if yr girl not engaged then also cant induced so i guess no choice, elective c sec is the best alternative. 38.5 weeks is ok. I delivered on 39th week, only a few days more nia.
my boy was only 3.5kg but he got big head. luckily i have childbearing hips so no problem.

cladi: My hubby is 1.85m and I'm 1.67m. I wud think of us as normal sized adults?? hahaha
For my #1 I tested only BFP on CD40!! But my CD was not very regular whereas after #1 now my CD is about 28-30 days.. Hubby and I BD diligently for this month so hopefully will strike. I find striking for #2 harder than #1!

zhuzhu your girl is really big. is she on the bigger side now or like normal kids?
my son was 2.8kg and i find it gd enough alr haha. gynae said if he is 3kg plus, possibly my labour would be longer.
mine also induced labour. hoping this time can do all natural, waterbag burst and all.

talking abt labour has brought back all my bad memories of my labour. Gosh!
amby, i did mine naturally however gynea said my cervix was located too far back so had alot of trouble trying to check how much i dilated. That part cause me the most distress... he had to burst my waterbag which was super painful! I hope this round, my waterbag will burst on its on cos I really don't think I can tahan him bursting my waterbag again..

But even if she is born big, she shld be normal size now right? My friends son also born 4kg plus but now is normal size.

gisele: Yes. For me sex is not important. She is daddy's little girl for sure! Hubby did alot of prenatal callings before she was borned.
That's so much variety of clothing and shoes and accessories for girls! Just yesterday I bought another set of clothes from gingersnaps for her.. simply cute~~ I've also recently ordered old navy stuff from US.. sending to Singapore soon.. can't wait~~

cladi, glad to hear u are feeling better today. the ribenna, 7up etc is to increase blood sugar rite? u mean now can take multi-vit? i just got someone to bring back for me but wondering when to start taking.
gisele, from symptoms sometimes can't tell gender as it all depends on the preggy's body at that point in time. i had friends who had different set of symptoms during each pregnancy but still end up having the same gender.
though girls are cute and much closer to parents, i do hope to have another boy. Otherwise the 2 siblings will not be close i feel.

i am from march thread, but ada was born on 28 feb.
someone was talking about dr joycelyn wong. she was my gynae. I like her alot. i went thru 17 hours of labour but she still encourage me to go natural labour.. heng lah or esle i ended up c-section.
for no. 2, i will still go back to her... but someone was mentioning 15 june.. worth the wait...

Emmie, i share the same feelings as you. i feel same gender siblings will be closer once they grow up. girls and boys tend to go their own way.

I totally agree that smrt should change their rules on the height thingy. my ger already past that liao...so if take mrt must pay liao...last time only need to start paying when the kid is like 6/7 yrs old..hahah!

harno.. 1yo swim oso need pay.. but i silly la.. ppl ask me how old is he.. is he 1yo liao.. i go ans yes.. my hubby n frens all say i sld jus say not yet 1yo.. haha.. but his size.. difficult to lie ah

cladi, where in Bt Merah is your office? I used to work at Alexandra...the journey wasn't short lor. My hubby drove me to work during my first pregnancy then especially when I haven't got over my MS.
as for height requirement, I don't care. I just act blur til someone call me out on it. So far so good. I also find it ridiculous that a toddler has to pay adult fare if he has no card.

my was Dr Adrian Woodworth.. deliver in most private hospital.. thk he is quite good.. tats y i jus go back to him.. and now..he is GST registered.. hai.. mean .. price will increase for all liao.. sian..

cladi, i prefer female gynae cos the idea of a male doc poking around my private parts seem a bit weird - although yes, he's a doc. Hmm, i'm not going back to previous gynae cos she isn't the assuring kind & can be quite fierce. I didn't switch then cos too lazy... now will look for a gynae that i'm more comfy with.
