Roxy, no longer Bf. He self wean latching at 4.5mo. Hardly any time to pump. Cuz looking after both myself.

Gg no no3 for me 101% confirm close shop already. having my hands so full with 2 kids n ds is at a very defiant age now at 3.5 I really duno how to discipline him

Jeanie it's v tough to look after 2 yourself hor ESP as age gaps r so near.. maybe can employ a Maid?

Roxy, my gynae was joking with me dun say too soon, accidents can happen! Ya think next time must ask her on any longer term preventive measures of really dun wan. But I dun like the idea of ligation.
 
Roxy, oic, thought you are one of the few who is garang enough to want no. 3 now. Quite a few mummies I know, initially wanted to have no. 3 but after the hard reality of looking after 2 young tots of 2 n 4 sink in, either decide to wait till no. 1 n no. 2 grow up more or confirmed stop at 2. Haha.

Thanks for asking, my whole family down with stomach flu last week. Luckily finally all recovered.

Roxy, sent my maid back when Bb is 2mo. So far so good. Still staying w parents n got some help from sisters. Tough but fun! Tiring but fulfilling. Hehe..
 
I think quite a few kids are in cc now.. Does ur kids fall sick often? I'm planning to put both to cc next year. Heard a lot of horror stories. Some even end up withdraw their kids..
 
ya jeanie actually i was supposed to put my son in IFC then go back to work. he came back both days with a gap of 2 days in between, with high fever. gave up n became sahm instead

i notice my son narrating his play when he is playing by himself too. sometimes in english, sometimes in his own language. very funny...

yesterday i finally saw him build something recognizable out of his megabloks. lol...
 
any one's toddler starts to be afraid of dark? howdo u cope with it and help the toddler overcome the fear?

my son started to be really afraid of dark this week. he would keep saying "dark dark" non stop and cover his eyes. just night he even shut his eyes tightly. am quite surprised because he's been sleeping alone since 6 months and always in complete darkness with no issue

Sandy, my boy also super naughty now. Tries to jump down his bed now and then and also climbs the window grille! Really faint man!

Has anyone done any form of contraception like IUD or patch , can give me some feedback? Is it effective? Or any side effects?
 
Hi Jac, I probably ask my gynae after I deliver also. Not too comfortable with permanent form like ligation etc. I heard IUD not bad.

Anyone know when we should start bringing our tods for dental checks? Just realised my boy front teeth slightly yellow compared to the rest. When do we start flouride toothpaste? Am still using my first toothpaste now.
 
Time flies.
It was like not too long ago tt the mummies were congratulating each other's 'popping'.
And now, the babies have already become toddlers.
But no matter how years have passed, they'll always be our babies.

Do your child sweat a lot? say even in air-con room, esp after latching/milk feed?

My child does, and doc says it's normal for toodlers at this age...just wanna ask around if it's the case for other toddlers...

Hi, I suppose quite a few of us starting your tods on pre-school Jan? How to help them fit in huh? I dun think they will just guai guai sit there and we leave right??
 
My son juz started his childcare centre journey today.
Can see that he's quite anxious, kept clinging to either my hubby or me.
So, gonna let him juz go on half-day till end of the mth/yr.
Will start him on full-day nxt mth/yr.
Keeping my fingers crossed that he'll getting used to the childcare centre life soon...
 
Ling Lee, twinstars, my no. 2 is also starting full day CC in Jan. She already started 2 hr playgroup at the RC downstairs since June but real hassle with 2 kids going to diff schools so going to put her tog with her elder sister's cc. Wanted to start her earlier in Dec while hubby is free during school hols but CC already has 7 new kids coming in so the teachers said cannot. Jan, no. 1 was also be shifted to another class as she enters Nursery, only 4 other classmates going to shift with her. With hubby going back to work in Jan, hope and pray that I won't have 2 fussy kids refusing to go to school in the mornings. Hiaz. -_-
 
Mine starting CC soon too. Very worried dunno if he will settle in. Intend to put him for a few hrs first then slowly stretch but think is not going to be easy. V different compared to being at home. I wonder how much leave I will end up having to take!
