Kea - I dun have poking cramps. Only evening time, stomach will bloated/heavy and cant eat alot. Then mid-night will feel hungry. This is the 1st time u are MTB? Guess all 1st time MTB will be anxious. Try relax if got cramp, then uterus will also relax. If still feel sever pain, better consult...
