    BabyTiger2010, the blood that came during your bowel movement could be due to piles. If it continued, it's better to see a doc so that he can prescribe some medication for you to apply coz if not treated well, it can come back and can be quite uncomfortable.     I think 80% of MC occur during the 1st trimester (i.e about 12 weeks) and the risk drops significantly after that. Hence, most people will only spread the news after the 1st trimester.
