taking sick leave during probation due to threatened miscarriage.

Oh dear. that must be really stressful! i'm sure you would love to juggle both!
I'm not sure if your job allows you to WFH, if possible, perhaps you can consider trying to ask for WFH so you get to do work at your pace/ comfort. If not possible, I think ultimately you do have to make a difficult choice.

firstly, I think you can open all your options. Try interview the new company to get a sense if the offers are good and if you have good feel about it, i think no harm jumping over.

If you want to try secure the current job i think have to talk to your boss first. let him/ her know the situation and see if there any arrangement can be done (best to prepare 2-3 suggestions for them to consider). I think try record all evidence in case there is any sign of discrimination. Having said all these, i think if the job really can't workaround then I think difficult decision has to be made.

I think naturally baby is a life & money can always be earned again so if no choice, I think you will feel less guilty in life if you choose to leave the job and do your best to keep this baby.vs the other way.
