Hi I am a Mother of a 1yr old. Been wondering what food should i feed my girl. Currently she is eating porridge (fish/beef/pork) sometimes with vegetable (broccoli, carrot, potato) all cooked together. 2 meals per day of the same thing, in between she is having 180ml of milk.

Am worried she is not having enough and will stop her to grow healthy. Mothers here...any advise?

U can try exposing her to other carbo staple like pasta, rice, rice noodle (bee hoon or kuay teow)... dun need to be always porridge... try slowly introduce more solid food for her to adapt...

Non staple food there's a lot of options... radish, tomato, corn, green peas, seaweed (this have to cut til very small piece if unable to chew well), spinach, bean sprout, tofu, egg (can try to introduce oredi)...

meat wise, unless you have some other consideration, can also introduce poulty...

I agree with innocentwar. You should start exposing her to different variety of food.. if not, she might grow up to be a picky eater. Esp since she's already one and shld have teeth, give her firmer food and maybe some finger food so that she can start to feed herself
