HI Mummies,

Where do you do your prenatal yoga at? Pls share~

I'm looking for one that conducts lesson during the weekday.

TIA~

I am going to Pilates ..... I went to yoga with my first child, but with the second I'm finding pilates is much more beneficial. I got to Breathe at Novena.

Hi Emily, could you share with us the difference in pre-natal yoga and pilates? yoga is more breathing exercise, pilates focus more on core muscles? thks!!

I am having my 3rd now and i am very faithful to my Prenatal yoga classes. I do learn a lot of core strengthening poses in my yoga classes. My first 2 deliveries were a breeze! Feel free to check out www.ohmsantih.com. I swear by the extensive help i have got from this class :)

Yes, I guess yoga is more 'spiritual' and is stretching on the floor, etc. Pilates has a bit more science behind the stretching, and sometimes you use machines etc rather than just floor exercises. Both types of exercise focus on breathing. My personal belief is that it is easier to get hurt in yoga than Pilates, since in Pilates the machine you sit on always puts your body in the right positions, whereas yoga is less controlled. Also I found in Pilates you can really target the right muscles for prenatal better because the machines and weights are designed for that. Yoga is perhaps more relaxing?
