Mid Term Termination Pregnancy

Dear All,

I was diagnosed with COVID 19 at 17 weeks of my pregnancy.
At then, MOH has send me to KKH for my check up & my bb heartbeat was still beating strongly!
After that, I was being send to Com Care.

After I was discharge, I went back to my gynaecologist as I was suppose to do my anomaly scan then.
But realised that my little one has went back to meet Jesus.
We did a MTPT shortly.

My questions are as such:
1. When can we try for another one again?
2. Is it covid that causes it? - RCOG guidelines state that COVID can cause twice the amount rate of stillbirths & miscarriages.

I'm getting over it, slowly and we really hope to try ASAP.

understand... i'm also having my first child and i am working frontline . everyday worried about getting infected. and because of my age, this is the last chance for me. How many days u stay in com care? The doctor only attended to you once and leave u to self recovery from covid in comcare after?

I stayed in com care for 14 days (it was extended due to personal reasons).
There were no care from the doctor at all in com care, except that MOH did send me to KKH for check up before departing to com care & there were tele consult.
But tele consult can’t check anything about the fetus at all.

i see. doesnt seems the correct way to handle infected pregnancy ladies. i really quite disappointed with MOH if they handle us this way. anything can happen in 14 days. Anyway stay strong n positive.
