Maternity package

hi everyone,

I intend to sign up for the maternity package from the hospital, but at my gynae clinic I was ask to make deposit to reserve a bed slot.

Anyone can tell me what is the difference? Wouldn't I already be reserved with a bed slot when I sign up the maternity package from the hospital.

I just hope to understand more before I make any inquiry / clarification with my gynae and the hospital.

Not sure what this maternity package is all about. I was asked to book hospital room at the gynae's n I don't have to pay any deposit for that.

Hello, you might want to provide more information so that other mummy can understand your encounter better. For example, which hospital, what ward type you opt for, subsidy or private patient etc.

i just did a maternity tour at mt e novena. understand that you have to make a deposit to book a bed there one month prior to delivery, and its 500.
mt a and tmc dont have this practice though.
