KKH Ward A1

Hi,

Im asking around to check how much does it cost to deliver at KKH and how much does it cost to stay at ward A1 each day?
And can I use medisave also?
Im currently at subsidized rates. Hope to hear some advise from experienced mothers.

From what i know if u choose to stay in A1 ward, your future check ups wont be subsidise right ?

If u choose gynae than u are consider private patients n I think certain gynae than can choose A1 ward if not is 4 bed

I will choose A1 ward too, single bedded. Cannot sleep well with the nurses constantly checking on other patients throughout the night

Any idea how much does it cost for total bill for A1 bedded and with the same Gynae.

And roughly how much cash to pay upfront ? Previously I deliver at TMC with elective c sec, 1 bedded . Cash pay front cost almost $5k . Very expensive .

Any kind mummies to share ?

As a private customer (same gynae throughout pregnancy) & staying in A1, the cost is comparable to Private hosiptals such as TMC etc. I was once a patient. Had emergency c-sec & the bill came up to abt $10k. After medisave, had to pay abt $6k cash.
