Hi ladies, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for almost 2 years now but to no avail. We have already tried TCM. We decided to take up IVF as an option and had gone through blood tests and Hyfosy at KKH. Currently, we are subsidised patients in KKH but we would like to request for a specific doctor during the whole IVF procedure. Would like to seek your opinions on a few things.

Is there really a need to see a specific doctor or there is no difference at all?
At which stage can we start requesting for specific doctors?
Are there any doctors at KKH that you would recommend?

Thanks ladies! Really nervous about this whole thing as I've fainted after Hyfosy due to a condition that I have - vasovagal syncope.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I've gathered.

They say the skill of the doctor is important during egg retrieval and embryo transfer.

At which stage can we start requesting for specific doctors?

Once you start IVF, your charges are the same as private. But if you choose to change from subsidised to private to choose your doctor, you need to restart the queue again.

Are there any doctors at KKH that you would recommend?

At KKH, Doctor THH is the most popular.
