How about trying to understand from the teachers' perspective? First, there are children with chronic eczema that needs to be bathed with prescribed shower foam, then lotion to be applied 3x a day. And then, there are children that have dried skin and their parents asked teachers to help apply lotion. Then the other kind that loves the talcum powder. Lastly, children on oral medication, asthma, etc etc. All these required additional attention from the teachers, and priority given to medical conditions, right?
And then, let's say, your child loves ruyi-oil. What is the problem with adding this to the list? First, it is "spicy". It makes the teachers' hands spicy (they are not supposed to wash off immediately after application - if you believe in ruyi-oil, it also states that washing immediately will make the person rheumatism!).... So, makes teacher's hands spicy and unsuitable to handle other children. Cannot help other kids to apply their medicated lotion, etc. Even Mopiko, our centre will not allow, whether brought from home or not! Only aloe-vera or medication from doctor. Also, what is good for your child might be poison to another kid - those poor kids with super sensitive skin, or somehow someone drinks it? Put it in their eyes?
Why is it so important for your baby to have Ruyi oil? My baby had that every morning, too. But after the first few months we just graduated from it. Also, some finds the smell offending and thinks our kid "very smelly" .... Anyway, can you put it in the morning, and in the evening? You see... if every parent have one special request, the teachers would be so overwhelmed!
