Had anybody take diazepam for anxiety during pregnancy

Hi,

Would like to know had anybody take diazepam for anxiety during pregnancy?

I am currently in 2nd trimester and required to fly. So far, my gyane say it safe as I only take it for flying and not everyday usage.

But other GP object completely. Would like to know if any pregnant woman who suffer anxiety have this before?

If this medication prescribed by your gynae or other doctors ?

Did you ever take this before your pregnancy ?

I truly understand your concerns especially it is second trimester now...

Hi Mummy_Sw,

Yes, I have taken this before pregnancy only when I need to fly due to bad experience that trigger my anxiety.

My Usual GP has prescribed to me and my gynae has assured me that it is safe in the second trimester but not on the third trimester.

But other GP give a no no and one other gynae give his approval of no no as well.
Anyway, I am back now. I was suffering so bad that I eaten 1 dose to sleep the day before flying and 2 dose on the day itself.. but I feel bad for the baby, therefore when i fly back, I didnt take any to make sure , and to ensure I overcome it. I succeede.

But when I google on this medicine, it give me a chill feeling , and staying positively, my baby will be born healthy.
