Hi all, I am currently with NUH sub patient and have done 2 retrievals and 3 transfers. All BFN. By the third failed transfer, we are exploring other alternatives now. We feel like the medicines given are just standard protocol as we were only prescribed crinone and progy prior to FET. After the 2nd failed transfer I requested to go for hysteroscopy and scratch, in which 2 small polyps were removed. It was short but painful. Dr Anu did the procedure for me. She mentioned it will increase the chances of pregnancy. Unfortunately, still BFN. I've asked around and some ladies who had failed transfers before chose a different doctor for their next FET. A few mentioned Dr Stephen Chew. Apparently he will do things differently.
1. Now my question is, what other medications are out there to support implantation other than crinone and progy (that CHR didn't offer me).
2. What are the steps to take to go to private from sub patient? Do I write in to CHR? Do I just bring it up to doctor/ nurse in CHR?
3. What is the cost for FET under Dr Chew? I heard he suggested "glue" for better chance of implantation and a jab? Anyone did this step with him before?
I have only 2 more embryos with NUH and we have a few options. We've thought of (a) changing to private clinic (Alpha/ Virtus. Transport the embryos there and do FET, (b) keep the embryos in NUH and start a new fresh cycle at the new clinic, or (c) opt for another doc (in this case Dr Chew) in NUH itself.
What other tests to take to investigate what is causing the embryos to NOT implant?
After 3 BFNs, we feel like it's time to change something. Thanks all.
