Hi Everyone,
I am in my 3rd trimester at 34 weeks+ now and this is my first pregnancy. Around 2 weeks ago, I realised that my body started to itch at my thighs and arms then slowly felt the itch at my belly area and chest last week. Past two nights I can wake up in the middle of the night feeling like whole body itch and hard to fall asleep. Asked some mummy friends and they mentioned that what I am having now could be PUPPP itchy rash.
Just applied calamine lotion (assumed to be very safe) and was advised by friend to take chlorphenamine (1 yellow tablet to stop runny nose and itch). Will do just that and maybe see a G.P tomorrow or Monday for further advice. Any experienced mummy has advice to share on how to cope with PUPPP with as best natural method as possible without consuming any medicine ? Read that this can only be fully cured only after birth ...so opened this thread for advice and help in overcoming this itch like me now and for others who experiencing this also ! Am trying very best not to scratch but it is so itchyy..
