Hi all mummies/mummies-to-be, it's our first time attempting to engage a confinement nanny through an agency.
All in the engagement contract seems reasonable until I came to a clause that states a 'Waiver of Liability' for the agency, basically saying that clients are unable to pursue the agency legally even if there are breaches in any matters related to the engagement. Seems like a catch-it-all clause that is disadvantageous to the client... but wondering if this is a common clause that will be put in across all confinement agencies? Especially those who had engaged a nanny before, kindly share your insights!
