Advise: Anyone seeing gynae Gordon Tan from GlenEagles?

Any mommies here seen Doc Gordon Tan from GlenEagles (Medical Center, level 8), and care to what's your experience and if you would go back to him if you pregnant again?

I was recommended by my ex-colleague, his charges and packages seems reasonable (compared to my previous female gynae at TMC)

I've had 2x miscarriages before with my TMC gynae with no clear solution (probably faith) and wanting someone who a bit more kiasu...

Any feedback are welcome!
 


Hihi, I am with Gordon Tan since 2008. He is my first gynae intro by my relative. So far his consultation fees has not increase since then till now

He is a very fatherly doctor and shown me lots of assurance during my pregnancy for my first. Everything goes out well. He delivered my first and I did one small surgery too by him
and recently one D&C by him. I am too comfortable with him

but he is not that detailed. He won't explain
much but will tell u can work or cannot work out. I am ok in that sense cos as long as he take cares of me during the surgery I am fine.
I did went to other gynae too at TMC but end up I still g back to him

Gordon delivered my boy in 2009, recommanded by my mum. Very experience doctor with very gd judgement which save me time & pain during then.
Agree with prosper that he is very fatherly, n dont explain much. Feels very comfortable n assured with him as he is very confident in the things he says. As for the dont explain much, he dosent explain in detailed only when u dont ask. If u ask, he will explain in detail with patience.
What i like most abt him is that he gave his mobile number to his patients (nt surE if he still does nw though), it makes contacting him in any cases of emergency much easier than contacting operators etc.
 
Yes I agreed, without him I think my labour won't be short. His judgement and procedures make my labour only less than 2 hrs.

would you all mind sharing what are his charges like approximately??

Did you girls deliver in Gleaneagles as well?? Is Gleaneagles wards, service etc any good??

Would appreciate any info/input ..

Hi Gordan Tan delievered both my kids in 2007 and 2010! Agree with all that he has very good judgement and experience. My labour v short and his stitching is quite good. You'll be in good hands with him.

I had one miscarriage prior to my 2nd child and he was very clear and decisive to tell me to remove the baby as there was no heartbeat and nature has it way of purging unhealthy foetus. I'm glad we heeded his advice. What we like about him is he doesn't beat ard the bush and he is pro natural birth.

Dr Tan delivers at a few hospitals ie. Gleaneagles, Mt A., Thomson. I delivered at Mt A.
 
Hi, i deliver my girl weeks ago at gleneagle, i must say tat their ward nurses are friendly and helpful, although the price of deliver in glen is not very cheap but u realli pay for the service

Care to share how much you paid in cash for the delivery? Natural or c-sec?

I am still considering between hospitals.

Dear Mommies, i am also considering Dr Gordon Tan, delivering at Gleneagles. 1st pregnancy... quite clueless.

Would you mind sharing the costs with me? I was thinking of booking an apptment with him for next week.

Hello! I think its best if u book an appointment with him n find out yrself. He delivered my boy in 2009 n i cant rmb his charges alrdy.

Though he is highly recommanded by myself, i usually suggest mummies to have 1-2 visits with him n c if ure comfortable. Different pple have different preferences.
I think the best thing abt him is his experiences n patience. But do rmb to ask questions if u have any doubts cos he dont talk much unless u ask.

his nurSes r very nice too! Sharon n cynthia if i didnt rmb wrongly. He has alot of patients so sometimes may have to wait a lil.

Currently, I'm seeing Dr Gordon Tan. He delivered my 1st boy in 2007 & his fees remains the same even for now. Quite good & experience. His assistances - Cythnia and Nicole r v friendly & helpful.
